Howdy all, I started a project some time ago, an attempt to collate data on various techniques used by folks here to integrate their psychedelic experiences. I took it on at a very chaotic time in my life and that combined with a couple off statements regarding publishing the final work (it won't be for sale!!!) put it into a sort of stasis.

The basic idea is thus: several areas have been identified being:
1. Social
2. Professional
3. Academic
4. Physical health
5. Spirituality
6. Emotional health

Within each area, a set of questions are applied within (perhaps) separate thread headings.

An example is thisSad this was written by Enoon to help me put it togetherSmile

•SPIRITUALITY:

Enoon wrote:

Whether or not one was brought to psychedelics for spiritual purposes, a very common property of them is to induce visions of a spiritual nature. One's foundational practice or belief system can be dramatically affected by psychedelic use, positively and negatively. Sometimes, it can be difficult to reconcile or integrate what one brings back from psychedelic space with an established belief system. One’s concepts of divinity can be completely shattered through a unitive experience (as described by A. Shulgin on his rating scale as a++++ state.) and they may look to existing religious practices for guidance.

Please answer as in a post in this thread, as you see fit.

From your use of psychedelics, have any of the following examples of change surrounding spiritual thought or practice occurred in your life?

- have you had insights of a spiritual nature from psychedelics use that you have folded into your belief system- in other words, can you briefly explain how psychedelics may have affected it?

- Have you gained a renewed interest in a spiritual practice that you held contemporary to or previously to your experience? i.e., one you grew up with or engaged in at some point in your life?

- If you had psychedelic experience(s) that changed your view on spiritual or religious matters, could you briefly elaborate on how they did so?

- Have you begun a new spiritual practice, and how does it help you understand what you learned in a psychedelic state?

- has an insight or experience damaged or destroyed a spiritual practice you previously engaged in? If this is the case, more important to this survey than what was the exact nature of the insight, is rather just how were you able to and how did you deal with your belief system being damaged or destroyed?

- If you disengaged from a church or other religious community setting, how did you accomplish that and handle any repercussions?

- Conversely, if you joined a church or other spiritual community, how did you find one that aligns with your psychedelic vision?

- did you receive any insight that was difficult to reconcile with your current/previous understanding of spirituality and if so, how did you deal with it?

Other ideas include a poll for each heading, but the data from a poll only states whether or not experienced say, difficulty in an area, and is like to see data on HOW difficulties are overcome.

I call my practice "Practical Tripping", and would very much like to see as much conversation around how we integrate as on how we trip. Experience reports are great, but info on how you applied it is functional.

The end result would be an entertaining write up, with illustrations, quotes, lyrics and poetry from the ages that relate to transformative practice and experience, and would hopefully be both practical and entertaining. A sort of trip guide. Perhaps a printable PDF could also have blank pages in which to journal. And it would be freely available here.

Anyway, I popped into chat the other night stoned and bored and was asked by a few of y'all about the status of this project. I'd love to see it back up, I've finally managed to integrate my way into a stable home, off methadone, into a wonderful community and into a stable maintained state of :Smile and think ithis project is something id like to and could take on. The rainy days of winter are encroaching, and a good reason to stay inside is a good reason to stay out of the wet.

I'm not posting this to go over any heads, and if there has been discussion on the mod team regarding this, I apologize. I don't know who is " in charge " therefore not sure who to pester about it.
Is anyone in charge if this? If not, how many snipe pelts will it cost to nominate myself?

That damn thing just keeps staring at me, resonating with a certain sense of failure. Surprised I'd love to see it reopened. What do y'all think?
