Yeah, give it a try & let us know how it goes. I've got a hot air blower vapouriser but it isn't any use for spice as the blower is pointed up & the spice would melt through the gauze.

Thanks for the pic I always imagined the wool a bit more coarse. Can anyone here that has used the machine with good result comment on that please? Is the wool in the picture coarse enough?

so how is the smoking procedure with this "machine"? Is it held horizontally and the flame sucked in through the steel wool like a crack pipe sorta? Or do you heat the glass neck? Also how do you load it up, i guess just hole it upright and set the spice on top of the wool, add heat until it melts down a bit and sticks? Or would you maybe sandwich it in the middle of the steel wool? Perhaps using two layers of wool? And this bottle is the single shot size correct? Can anyone give the ml size? I know they have the tiny tiny single shots, and then a little bit larger bottle (but still pretty small)

SWIM hasnt tried this yet, but he will use a straw on a 45 to scoop up some spice and will carefully go thru the hole in the botom of the bottle and drop it on the top of the wool. Then heat the glass to melt it into the wool. then with the bottle vertical will use a lighter below the wool and gently heat it. Hes not sure if he should begin inhaling before he sees vapor or wait till the bottle fills up a bit, but will see what happens. Dunno about the coarseness of the wool either, will let u know how it goes.

SWIM just tried it, and the wool was definetly to fine. couldnt get any vapor off it. so he pulled the wool out and pulled it into 2 pieces then put the piece where most of the dmt had melted in back in bottle. then when heating smoke poured off the bottom but came straight outside the bottle instead of up thru the bottle. managed to get one lungful which was very harsh and had no effect. Had around 200mg on the wool, although there is still some on it. SWIM thinks he will just snort next time

swim usually loads the dmt into the neck of the bottle (the part you would sip from were it a real bottle still). then hold it horizontally and heat up the spice from BELOW the bottle, DO NOT BURN THE WOOL (and use more coarse wool too for sure) Once its nice and melted down, you should be able to see it pooling at the bottom, continue heating with the flame, only this time hold the flame in front of the hole where the wool is (you may suck the flame into the wool a bit, this is ok, just don't let it catch fire), breath in all that vapor, it should fill with MILKY WHITE VAPOR. Swim usually goes in for 2-4 hits and then lays back and enjoys.

i hate to throw stones here but thats pretty CRACKISH.... hahaha even if it works good its GHETTO.......Fredys posted link to a real vaporizor seems interesting .. has anyone tried it? or ones like it.. its hard to introduce people to the wonders of this if the experience starts off by "SUCK ON THIS CRACK PIPE" or this even worse, home made one.. the real vap. would seem to remove this aspect and make it more user (or frist timers ) friendly......... my 2 cents sorry ......

crack pipe or not, the machine is the shit. Swim has introduced PLENTY of people to spice and the crack pipe didn't turn them off. The bubble thing looks like it would work well, i think that the steel wool helps heat the spice thru and thru tho, I think you may need a blue flame lighter to get really good vape off that piece.

If I may add my $0.02... This is exactly the same tecnique used to smoke crack out of a "Glass Dick"....and since we are taking about smoking freebase DMT that would make sense. I have known a few crackheads in my time and they use "choreboy" as their wool... It is copper wool. Doesn't rust, and apparently distributes the heat more evenly, resulting in less loss due to high temps. If one does use the copper wool, please know that it is coated in plastic so one must pre-burn over a stove or with a lighter... I imagine that one should do this with steel wool as well, as they probably coat it with something to prevent rust. I use a bent meth style pipe that goes into to a pear shaped glass bubble complete with carb and stem. Can be filled with around 70mg before having to toke...works extremely well. Can anyone compare the difference between the machine and meth style pipe.. Mainly I am interested in which one gives smoother smoke, I have a friend that is having trouble doing more than 15-20mg due to the harshness of the spice.

It was harsh every single time. Out of frustration with the harsh smoke i built a machine becasue of the claims of smooooooth and instant vapors. OMG! I couldnt believe it! It was the difference between smoking nasty dry stale AZ weed and smoking apple flavored tobbacco from a hookah. Not that it tasted great or anything but you couldnt even feel the smoke being inhaled. Also I had lots of problems vaporizing the crystals in a lighbulb.....super easy in the machine I think the temperature of the smoke is what causes the harshness. The glass on alighbulb or pipe has to be heated really hot before it conducts onto the crystals...causing a higher than needed temp and a 'hot' vapor. The steel wool must conduct heat easily and therefore using the minimal amount of heat to vaporize the melted crystal ( aka the heat doesnt linger on the steel wool like it does on glass).

Can you buy these Hennessy minatures in Aus?? if not - what is a good substitute?
