The "arm" is out of control, I've been meaning to do something about it, but at the same time thought the pictures of its growth were fairly interesting...

(I'm aware of the etiolation and other issues, these are hobby cacti, Im not concerned about having the best cactus in town, and I'm not trying to impress anyone or cultivate entheogens, I just enjoy having sacred plants about the house. I have an extensive sample collection of nearly every known entheogenic plant, but as far as live plants go I only have some cacti)

The first picture shows the cactus armless.

The cactus had an issue, a towel was left under its pot and a mold formed, the top of the cacti became a black mushy mess. So, after reviving the cactus an arm began to grow from the "scab".

The pictures show it getting progressively bigger.

The last picture was taken this morning.

I want to graft one of the lophs pictured below to one of my trichocereus cacti, but need more information on how to do this without killing both my plants, again, this is all hobby stuff, so I'm not concerned with much aside from keeping these things alive and as healthy as possible...and I know they could be doing better, which is why I'm trying to build as much information on the topic as I can.
