Hello again, I've just gotten to try Q21Q21's tek a few times in the last week, having previously used wet teks with lye (nasty stuff).

I have to say, the yield thus far has been well rewarding and the ease of the process is, quite frankly, cool. Decanting is such ease. I have just performed my first acacia extraction and I am quite excited for the turnout. I can't imagine going back to my previous teks.

On lye aka caustic soda is a chemical same as naphtha lime or any other yet it's not soluble in naphtha so I don't see a problem !

And with TEKs we all should try new methods TEKs and so forth as it not just helps you and me but everyone in this grand community also I was told once from a valuable mod , that we should try new barks every now and then as it keeps
( the harvester ) honest

I love the lime tek for sure. Super fast and easy peasy.

Lime is slightly less dangerous to handle that lye so i think this is why some people like using it instead.

Yes, Q21's dry tek is quite effective and easy to do. 2.3 gms from 142 grams of ACRB was possible, thats 1.61% Yield from 3 pulls over the course of 3 days. Think another pull would have yielded more but I was satified with what I got. This was my first attempt with this tek.

Freeze precip yielded nice white crystals that are very potent. They do have an oily consistency to them but they are able to be handled easily compared to the resulting goo I got from a hybrid lye tek I used my last attempt. I wasnt able to do all the steps properly on that tek though because of circumstances so I am sure that had to do with the low yield and the goo. The Q21 tek, I was able to do the entire extraction, step by step, exactly as stated, with phenomenal results.
