so i have never really had a breakthrough on red before until the other day. she(the red is a very feminine presence to me) showed me all kinds of wonderful things...until i tried it again today. i gotta say she wasnt nearly as playful this time. well playful in a taunting kind of way. the reds presence is darker...where as the white is very light. the presence is more welcoming and friendly. i understand why she did what she did and now we see eye to eye, we worked it out. i had some thoughts that i shouldnt have had and she was letting me know it wasnt ok to think like that. so my experiences differ greatly from white to red....how about everyone else? i know alot of people dont really like the red so i would like to know what everyone thinks.

I like both together in a mix with cappi alkaloids.

I think he means jungle or regular spice.

What thoughts were you thinking that this red being didn't like?

the red didnt like the feeling i was having of doubt. i doubted myself for a minute and it let me know that it wasnt ok to think like that. also i have been going vegetarian and the day before it was waving a chicken sandwhich in front of my face and so i at a chicken sandwhich before smoking it the second time and i damn near threw up...me and the red have come to an understanding but i think we need a little time apart. i know she will call to me again when im ready. but yes it was jungle spice. i do like a mix because the red is more subtle that way but still a very present force. but this experience in particular was pure jungle.

The spirit of mimosa has always been known to be a trickster....be careful with her, she does not always tell the truth or play nice, but can be a wonderful teacher at times.

When people brew it for an oral brew they get the whole spectrum of alkaloids soluable in acidic water....I suspect many of those are present in the jungle spice (red). I'm not all that suprised you felt her as a female presence, that is not uncommon with Mimosa.

Thats an interesting point; before I started venturing into hyperspace, from some of what I had read I assumed that what you see and experience is actually another reality. Well it is, but always through the window of the chosen means of travel; in our case Mimosa. What I mean is, it is always with the character and conciousness-print of the plant used (if a plant is used at all).

And as acalon pointed out it is healthy to keep in mind that the plants have their own agenda, and may choose to teach us or not, even play tricks.. and not to take anything tooo seriously! I think its easy to romanticise at the beginning that you can experience pure truth with this stuff.. and you can .. but not always!
At the end of the day I think its about developing a good relationship with whatever teachers one chooses.

^ so true...there ARE Master Teacher Plants that have worked with humans for a very long time (Caapi, peyote, ibogane, Achuma/Pedro) that I believe do have great potential for teaching, howevere, they will teach us what they think we need to learn, not what we WANT to learn. Many will help heal the body and mind....notice that Mimosa is not on that list. That is not to say she is not a teaching plant, just that she has not had thousands of years working with humans. The mimosa-human interaction is rather new (even the Jueruma cults of Mexico are not as old as Caapi use is).

I'm really NOT trying to discredit your experience, it was real for you and therefor a real experience. I'm only warning (as the above poster) that mimosa has her own agenda and is not known for being a strong teacher. Proceed with this understanding and you may learn a lot more from her. Not ever lesson should be taken at face value, and that's with any Teacher Plant.

So in the same vein, would you say that a DMT trip differs if it comes from mimosa or say chaliponga/chacruna. i.e different plant spirits at work?

I would, as long as you are not purifying the extract. Jungle Spice is a mix off most of the alkaloids in Mimosa, thus capturing her "sprit" so to speak. Once purified into 99% pure DMT you are only having a DMT experience, not a mimosa experience, same goes for oral consumption...mimosa tea with caapi or rue is VERY different from crystal DMT and pure harmine or a mix of harmala alkaloids.


So yes, if one were to do a full spectrum extraction of Chaliponga for instance, it would be different than Jungle Spice from Mimosa....same for Chacruna, frequently most of the DMT in chacruna is DMT N-Oxide, so a full spectrum extract would be different than pure synthetic or highly purified extracted DMT. I don't know if there are as many different alkaloids in Chacruna as Mimosa, there's alot in mimosa other than DMT...

In traditional S. American Ayahusaca shamanism it is the Caapi that is the teacher and the Chaliponga/Charuna are simply helper plants...although I believe they are equally important.

thanks guys i understand what you're saying. its just the first time it was beautiful because she was doing these things to my vision. and what i got out of that was....i know im my head it really isnt like this but what she was telling me was that things are like this all the time, you just arent seeing it the right way. i know that everything is the power of perception. you see things completely different than everyone else and the red told me that i just needed to open up to all the possibilities and your way isnt everyone elses. you might not agree with it but you must respect what they are willilng to teach you.

I have some experience in the matter that may be interesting. The first time i had dmt, it was yellow and white colored. I figured that it wasn't very pure and proceeded to smoke it. It rocked my world, the visuals were so dark and a feminine presense could clearly be felt. At that time i didn't know what it was. When i smoked that paticular dmt on mushrooms it was like a full on orgasem for an hour long. I was just moaning in my bed with pleasure, it felt like i was really being worked over in a good way heh.

The last time i smoked that paticular batch was the first time i had an entity contact on dmt. I took the rip of dmt and for some reason i felt the urge to go lay on my bed. My bed was glowing bright red, i put my hand on the bed and i could feel a presence there, when i sat down the dmt high changed considerable. I felt like i was in the loving embrace of a woman. I felt loved. That's when things started to click in my head. I realised that i was being influinced by something completely different then dmt. It made me wary, and broke me out of my trance. I felt the urge to leave the room and talk about my experience with my friend. When i started getting up the visuals changed completely. There was this ripple effect in the walls that made it look like i was walking through water. It was extremely hard for me to move at first. I felt like i was being pulled back into the bed, this just made me even more determined to get out of there.

So i made it into the bathroom, i figured i went down to baseline because i didn't feel like i was tripping very hard anymore. And then i saw it... This large black tentacle comming from my bedroom that looked like it was made of thick black smoke, with a tint of blue in there. Immidietely i though it was a bad spirit taking advantage of my state of mind, i went to go back into the bedroom to see what was connected to the tentacle. There was this cloud just hovering over my bed with 6 or so tentacles all reaching across my bedroom. I will admit, i was a bit scared at first but then my instincts kicked in and i realised that i must will this thing out of my bedroom or risk having a permenent house guest. I walked up to it and just willed it to leave. I imagined it getting sucked out of my window and dissapearing into the night and never comming back. And it did.

Looking back now, maybe i should have approached the tentacle monster with an open mind, it could have been the spirit of the plant...

I believe that this was jungle spice that i smoked because the visuals were so different then pure dmt. Pure dmt for me is so light, vibrant, so much easier to handle. This stuff i smoked was Dark... sensual...perhaps a little wrong i don't know for sure. Whatever it was i want more of it lol.
