This morning I did my second attempt to smoke DMT. I loaded 15 mg white and yellow spice on the liquid pad in my GVG. Before doing so I had pressed the liquid pad as deep as possible into the GVG and I must say, this time it did not capsize, The flame of the ignited lighter almost touched the ceramic diffusor for a few seconds. Then I withdrew it to some centimeters above. With all the power I had I sucked my lungs full. But what went into my lungs? In fact, I did not see any smoke and did not taste anything. But the DMT was surely vanished from the liquid pad when I checked. My questions to experienced GVG users are: how thick is the smoke I should have seen? how long after a failure one can try again? Although I did not notice anything there is a possibility some DMT entered my lungs. And I have understood that a failure causes temporarily immunity. Quiet the mind and the soul will speak

strtman wrote:...With all the power I had I sucked my lungs full... I think you sucked too hard, that keeps the temperature too low and only melts the spice not evap. You cant see very well melted spice on the pad. The right suck amount you can learn with a regular bic lighter, set flame to nearly an inch. Suck the flame down to the ceramic so the flame-point just not touches the ceramic. If you suck too hard the flame will touches the ceramic. With the suck you just bend the flame down toward ceramic no more. That is the amount of suck-power about right to heat up properly. With that kind of air flow, one does see smoke in gvg clearly. But it takes a time frame before that happens, the heat has to build up, especially with that thick liquid pad. Have some deep breaths before the took so you can inhale longer. Keep cool, don't be "bitterly disappointed" after just two trials.

If we're right, it means that the liquid pad still holds your melted but unvaped spice! Or a part of it.

Again my GVG was filled with 15 mg yellow and white spice. Just like Jees said, this time the flame was kept above the ceramic diffuser and I slowly inhaled. I exhaled, moved the flame up and down and slowly took a second hit. I got a taste in my mouth and knew that it was smoke. After about 10 seconds, most likely too short, I had to exhale. To convince myself that there was indeed smoke and not some sort of imagination, I put the GVG in front of my eyes and, yes, there was smoke . I took a third hit, put the GVG and lighter on a table, lied down on my bed and closed my eyes. A very pleasant intense heat penetrated my head. I guess this was due to some DMT, but perhaps excitement and nervousness. Besides that nothing occurred, most likely because there was too much time between the second and third hit. But the fact that there was smoke, I am certainly on the right track. Tonight I will do another try. Quiet the mind and the soul will speak

You'll definitely want to try and hold it in longer. I find that after holding it down for a few seconds, the harshness vanishes, my lungs and muscles relax, and I can hold it in for a while. Also, after a failure, you can try again instantly. Having perhaps "opened the door" slightly, you might find it easier to get in at that point. "Science without religion is lame. Did a third attempt and it was a beginners succes. Again 15 mg of yellow and white spice. Moving the flame above the ceramic diffuser and inhaling as slowly as possible. I did not feel anything, exhaled and took a second breath. This time the smoke entered my lungs, very thick white smoke, but unfortunately I had to cough after about five seconds. A third hit followed, put my GVG and lighter on the desk and lied down on my bed, closed my eyes and let it happen. Also now an intense heat overwhelmed me, not only in my head, but also my arms and legs. It was as if my limbs weighed thousand of tons. But a very pleasant and satisfying feeling. Then deep yellow circles occurred and I saw everything moving. As if something tried to pull me away from my bed. After about a minute it disappeared. I am adopting the GVG techniques. Now I have to concentrate on keeping the smoke in my lungs for at least twenty seconds. And so in only one single day a disappointed man can transform into a happy man . Thank you all for the advises. What a wonderful folks you are. Will do a next shot next weekend. Quiet the mind and the soul will speak
