I've been wondering how the after-effects of LSD analogues (i.e. ETH-LAD, AL-LAD, 1P-LSD, LSZ, etc) compare to LSD itself. These drugs bear strikingly strong similarities to one another in structure and activity/effects/dosage range, yet seem to differ radically from LSD in terms of the subjective experience produced by each one (i.e. each analogue has its own character of sorts). I am curious to know how the afterglow/after-effects/hangover/day after effects of each LSD analogue compares to the after effects from taking LSD itself (i.e. is it shorter, less energy draining, more euphoric/productive, etc).

IME, I have found that LSD tends to drain me of energy/drive for a couple days afterwards. The first day is usually spent in a very lethargic and lazy/hazy/fried state of mind. I tend to take it easy and relax and recoup and write about what happened while the lessons are still in my mind. Anything that takes a concerted effort beyond writing, meditation/yoga, cleaning my home or cooking a halfway decent meal is futile. The afterglow, still present, seems to be intermingled with a foggy fugue state. The second day is usually much more productive. Although i still feel drained, more energy is coming back and I begin to feel refreshed and revitalized. If I get a large amount of sleep the night following the first day, I tend to return to normal functioning capacity by the afternoon and can reintegrate/reabsorb myself back into the real world.

In a matter of moons, I will soon be taking the plunge into the realms of LSD analogues and am trying to collect more information on how the after effects of various analogues compare to LSD itself. When ingesting LSD, I tend to make sure that I have nothing of importance going on for the two days following ingestion in anticipation of the integration days to follow. I would like to know what to expect from other analogues as well. In particular, I am interested in how the effects of ETH-LAD, AL-LAD and 1P-LSD compare as these are the analogues I will be sampling in the closely distant future. Any and all input from this community would be greatly appreciated.

All the best,
-God

Hey there Godsmacker,

I remember the afterglow of AL-LAD as being quite nice... up to that point i was used to psilocybin so the novelty of the afterglow really stood out, i couldn't quite put my finger on what was different but for that reason it was very intruiging.
I also recall that i was fairly tired, being in a very reflective and slow paced mood throughout the following day. In the days after there was still plenty of insights coming through and was having to focus on integration quite a bit.

Another thing i found after taking AL-LAD was transient visuals/trails in the days afterwards, although it's worth mentioning that i took it a few times within the space of a few weeks (not recommended) and it was also the first lysergamide i'd tried for a few years. I've since noticed that with LSD i've not had visuals in the days afterwards like i did with AL-LAD. I can't say i noticed much difference between LSD & 1P-LSD at all the one time i tried it.

I find fatigue the day after can be dependent on a few things, as sometimes i'm refreshed with only a few hours sleep and at other times i've been quite lethargic after a full nights sleep. I find making sure i've eaten and slept well the day before, and also having a good reintegration meal before sleeping helps. The next day i usually hit the Yoga mat first thing, then head out into nature to get some fresh air to kickstart the day nicely. As always meditation is important too, sometimes people find after a deep experience the minds tendencies come back more than ever, which can manifest in many ways including lethargy, apathy etc... so vigilance is vital.
Bon voyage Smile
