So If I understand it correctly, steps one to five are done in a different bottle than steps 6 to 12 are done in a separate bottle? Do you ever mix the two together?

No, only step six is separate. I prefer to prepare the alkaline solution (used to base the alkaloids) separately so I can ensure it is thoroughly dissolved. In step 7, you add the solution made in step 6 to your acidic wattle soup, which I should have mentioned you do SLOWLY (because sodium carbonate liberates co2 upon neutralisation, resulting in a lot of frothing. Remember those volcanoes from the elementary school science fair? Same principle). From steps 1-5, your bottle shouldn't be more than about half full, the empty half is filled in the latter steps (mostly with the solution prepared during step 6). Cool. Yes, I remember those science projects.
Alright, so step 6 is done separate to ensure it is dissolved properly, other than that, rest of the steps are done in one jar than once steps 1 through to 6 are complete you mix it together and I assume cook it again for an hour or 3 or do you freeze it or go straight to extracting the goodies?
Edit: So to double check, the ingredients I'll need, is naphtha (Which can be found using shellite right?)
White Vinegar
Washing SODA
Rock salt non iodized
than some items like a baster to take off the top layer of crap. and some glass jars or something for mixing?

Don't overheat the mixture after basing. I usually keep the water bath at 50C for an hour is so, mixing occasionally before I start extracting. If you go above 70ish the DMT will start to oxidise much more rapidly. Your shopping list looks alright. And just to make sure you understand, the top layer is naphtha (where the goodies are at). So if I am correct, once I've gotten the top layer off, that's the good stuff right and the rest is just junk?
I guess the next thing I need to maintain the temps before extracting is one of those temp stick things. I suppose woolies sells them?
So to make sure I understand, steps 1 to 5 are done in one jar, than step six is done in another jar to ensure it is dissolved properly, than I mix the two together and than repeat steps 8 and 10 without topping it up with water and than evaporate the naptha?
I assume it would look like crystals right?

Yeah, one of those stick thingies... What do the scientific types call them again... Thermo-something or other Seriously though, you can gauge the temp close enough with your finger (water bath should be just bearable during the base stage). If you really want to know the temp accurately, you can get 4x digital temp probes for $5 delivered off eBay, just got a few for my new still, they work well and got here in 3 days (just search for digital thermo-stick-thing lol) Yield will depend on your input material and exact extraction technique. Could be goo, wax, crystal or even little rocks. So if i didn't use a thermometer I could just make sure it keeps steaming but isn't unbearably hot for the finger test.
What would be the best thing to mix/cook in? Would a normal metal pot work or should look at something else?

Use a regular pot as a water bath to heat the contents of your bottle "Laws alone can not secure freedom of expression; in order that every man present his views without penalty there must be a spirit of tolerance in the entire population." -Albert Einstein

So I'll have a normal pot filled with water and than put a jar or bottle or something in the water with the contents and heat it up that way?
