Hello to all, i'm happy to be here. Do you know if this could be perganum harmala seeds? http://imgur.com/gwgH4sMhttp://imgur.com/msLpgx1I bought them for just 1 euro in a shop with turkish, eastern stuff. The seller said it was frankincense but ask google!

Certainly looks like it. Since its from iran that foreign squiggle would be in farsi, and the farsi squiggle for Peganum harmala looks the same اسپند

The german name is Steppenraute or syrische Steppenraute. It looks like it. I definatly would make a tea out of it and drink it. (Yes i am that sure.)

It most definitively looks like syrian rue (taxonomical name: peganum harmala) seeds to me.
There is an easy test you can do if you have a blacklight (long wave ultraviolet light) lamp: soak some of your seeds in water, or even better, boil it for a few minutes and then hold it under the blacklight. It should glow strongly blue-green when you do this, especially so if you turn off all other regular lights. If you do not have a blacklight or other uv source, sunlight also works to some extent, but the effect is not as striking, because the sunlight overpowers the blue-green fluorescense, leaving only a faint blue-green glow.
