Look into the firewood 2.1. Looks nice, load the glass cupsule with chore like the gvg, stick your dose in, & press the button.
I'd have to agree with mccoyboy. Get a couple different ones. It doesn't have to be all at once. Pick one & use it for a while. & when your used to using it & have the extra cash grab another vaporizer & get good with it then compare.
you'll eventually figure out which one you like best & gain plenty of experience with smoking & tripping on spice in the process.

Enhanced leaf or changa is always a great way to go as well. I've never had too much luck with vaping but it's because my technique is sloppy lol. A naked man fears no pickpocket.

The volcano is convection and probably the best vaporizer ever made. I got one years ago for vaping weed and it's the best thing I've ever tried DMT with. Pretty much makes it fool-proof and guaranteed breakthrough as long as you hold your hits. It's the most expensive vaporizer though, so that makes it inaccessible to most. But if you smoke a lot of weed, the volcano pays for itself in just a few months with how much you save in efficiency.
The company that made the volcano just developed new hand-held vaporizers for their product line. My buddy has one and it works a LOT better than any other portable vape I've seen, and almost as good as the volcano itself. It's called the "Mighty" and it's the next tool I'm getting and will be vaping dmt out of that in the future.
Another thing to note is that the volcano and Mighty both have liquid pads for their herb chambers. So you don't need any ash, weed, or whatever to pack it with. The liquid pad is a little wire mesh disc that is inserted into the bottom of the bowl for the crystals/oil to sit on. As it melts, the mesh absorbs it, increasing surface area and vaporization. Most pure and simple way to do it.
These are really expensive options, but they're kind of like DMT--indescribable in how different and powerful they are. If you're going to get a special tool for a special, life changing experience, you really won't be disappointed in the investment.

The volcano plugs into an outlet, but the bag of vapors detaches and can be taken anywhere. The mighty is handheld with a 2 hour rechargeable battery.

No combustion. sbc1 wrote:Icon you got any info of any of the vapes that are not so expensive and work with dmt seeing as though I don't have cannabis cheers I bought a magic flight as a portable option and I tried dmt out of it a couple times. You still need to pack it with herb though or it would melt through the fine screen. I already had the volcano, and in comparison the magic flight is really dinky and doesn't have the necessary power to get the big hits for a strong experience. Smoking it out of a simple pipe or bong can definitely be more effective than most lower end vaporizers like the magic flight. I've heard good things about the GVG, so that's probably the cheapest device I'd recommend. But now that the Mighty just came out a couple months ago, it has all the power the magic flight and portable vapes were lacking. This is a thread about best vaporizers and the mighty and volcano speak for themselves in the first impression. Deeply sorry if you never get the chance to try one. They make everything soo much easier, but no, you don't need to drop hundreds of dollars on a vape to breakthrough or have a powerful experience. They're super expensive but built very strong and advanced with 2 year warranties. I've had my volcano for 6 years now working flawlessly like the first day I got it. The heating element finally died a couple months ago, so I sent it in and got it repaired for $80 and now I expect it to last another 6 years. Can't comment on the dozens of other vapes out there cause I already have the best.

Hi there, Do you guys happen to have any further update on how it's going with the Mighty after a few more months using it, those that have one? I'm interested with how it compares to a basic water bong for daily herb and changa (not enhanced leaf). I've long wanted to switch away from smoking, but I've never found a vape that really works for me. *but I've also never tried a volcano or their products. Can the mighty vape the harmalas in changa? Will the stink linger in the vape when you use it for herb (not that I care I guess)? After 20 years of smoke, I feel like I should just spend the money on a Volcano, or the Mighty if it works, and give vaping a real chance. I have a graveyard of occasional vape pen purchases made through the years though. heh

There are already a few threads about this so I will just post my general experience. Other info can be found here. The non-glass vapor genie is not ideal. Since you can not see the vapor it is to easy to burn your product. The function of it is good and I am able to break through it is just difficult and has a big learning curve. (I have not tried the GVG but know it would be better due to the fact you can see your vapor!) I generally go with dabbing my DMT. Rigs are extremely cheap, free if you already have one, and it seems much more fool proof. More info on that can be found here. I think a lot has to do with personal preference as well as what you can afford. As long as it gets the job done you will be good! “How long will this last, this delicious feeling of being alive, of having penetrated the veil which hides beauty and the wonders of celestial vistas? It doesn't matter, as there can be nothing but gratitude for even a glimpse of what exists for those who can become open to it.” ― Alexander Shulgin, Pihkal: A Chemical Love Story

I got the Arizer Solo, as I didn't want to invest so much money in the Volcano at the time (though I think I probably would now).
It's decent, and portable. I took to putting freebase inside a small pouch of foil which stops it from clogging the vaporiser up, changa has been fine when just put straight into the top.

Icon, did you end up getting the Mighty? I'm very interested to know how it works for changa.
