Hi,

Iv'e read a few reports of Caapi tea being used to cleanse the system and I would like to try it on its own before moving on to an aya brew.

I boiled 100mg Caapi 3 times for 3 hours each in cheese cloth then added and reduced the tea down to 200mgs liquid then filtered into a mason jar.

I left the jar in the fridge for a week and a lot of fine sludgy sediment has gathered on the bottom.

Should I decant and discard the sediment or should it be consumed?

Live plants. Sustainable, ethically sourced, native American owned.

Drink the sediment

If you brewed 100g of caapi and have it reduced down now to 200ml, id say start with 50g caapi, just to get a feel. So drink 100ml.

And check the link above. The sediment that falls to the bottom in the fridge overnight has actives in it, definitely don't let that go to waste.

Thanks.

I added water to the sediment jar and added a black light, Sediment jar is on the left. Doesn't specifically prove anything but indicates harmalas in sediment.
