Hey ho folks,

I want to share with you this very multilayered psychedelic-shamanic music:
this is my alltime favourite guide into hyperspace:

https://soundcloud.com/k...es-a-story-book-of-earth

Its a balanced mix or organnic and electronic sounds and has a lot of shamanic elements in it. that always helped me remember what I am doing when lifting of into hyperspace. The music elements change fast and it helped me alot with remembering the trip. Even days after the trip I am able to remember when relistening to the set. It feels like the whole set als developed into a map of hyperspace to me ;-).
I have one question to you: The last time (3g Harmala + 17mg DMT) I was able to fade out the volume of the music according to my will. I could go into total silence and then just listen to some parts of the music. so for example at some point i could hear only the voice of the shamans and not all the other sounds of the music. did someone also expirience that?

I love to use binuaral beats when traveling. My favorite may not be the purest example but it works quite well for myself and others that have traveled with me. You can try it for yourself here. Headphones are strongly encouraged.

Also, my all time favorite musical piece to travel to is the song Reflection by Tool. It is only 11 minutes long so have something else slotted to play once it stops but that song seems like it was made for DMT. At least to me it does. Read the lyrics (some of which are in my signature) and you may understand why I believe this. I use it for most all of my travels mostly because it always seems to take me to a similar place. I use good quality noise cancelling headphones and complete darkness.

Music certainly extends the experience for me. If I put on an hour long track and keep my eyes closed I can extend the trip almost to the entire hour mark off of one strong hit. And that is without the aid of any MAOI. Just take care not to open your eyes once the effects start to subside.

I am with you. I can also fade the music out layer by layer almost. Sometimes it even seems to fade entirely and just become part of the experience. I forget entirely that I was listening to music when I come back because it has stopped playing. Then I go to stand up only to remember that I am wearing headphones.

I agree Carbon Based Lifeforms are on a completely different level. There is one song though that gives me one of the most intense feelings of "nostalgia for something I know but have forgotten" that I have ever experienced. The song is "Singtree" by Solar Quest...Singtree

Also I HIGHLY recommend listening to this diamond I found.... Its a guided meditation that literally brought me to tears of joy and appreciation right before embarking on one of my favorite journeys to date.

Sadly it seems ambient-nights.org is now down, it's a pity. I hope the youtube quality is as good as the original mp3 downloads are.

Music is extremely subjective and figure that just as physical setting and mental setting is very important, so to is music. My last Ayahuasca trip was hugely influenced by music, and not from a positive angle.

If having a really bad trip, full of regrets where you are shown your life's mistakes, the last thing you want is scary jungle music!

I would be interested to hear more about people's positive experience of music.

This is my usual soundtrack for change, extremely chilled with an utterly beautiful gentle piano riff

Music is alive and in your soul. It can move you. It can carry you. It can make you cry! Make you laugh. Most importantly, it makes you feel! What is more important than that?

Just wanted to thank you for sharing this. I love this kind of ambient/atmospheric music. Very gentle and comforting, like a warm hug!

There are a lot of these out there on youtube, but this one resonates with me well.

I will later go through this thread and check out everything posted here Smile

And my contribution is this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EzcgTFbASA4

It's from an album called Tibetan Meditation by Phil Thornton. This is just the first track but the whole album is amazing. But blasting of to the first track and then let the album run is magical.

This is made for DMT space.
I've posted this here before and will probably post it again. No music has effected my trips more.

But I'm looking forward to try what the OP posted in his first post Smile Sounds very awesome Smile

Thank you.
