Hi all!

I'm a Biomedical Laboratory Technician who work
in an hospital research facility, Biomolecular Lab.

Ethnobotany it's my passion, as the exploration of the boundaries of Knowledge, I think the key to finding the balance between us and the Earth lies in a very deep places inside all living species.
The unique affinity that some substances have with these very deep places at physical, vibrational (energetic) and spiritual levels, provide insight into what is normally hidden from our eyes and beyond our understanding, enabling us to communicate with this "new" reality and learn from it, and if we want to, evolving into more complete beings.

I have had some experiences with marijuana, Datura spp., isossazolic mushrooms (Amanita muscaria, pantherina), Psylocibin mushrooms, bufotenine (from A. colubrina / Peregrina seeds), MDMA, Opium, Diethyl ether, LSA, Wild lettuce opium (Lactuga Virosa) and myristicine (nutmeg).

I practice Martial Arts and Reiki.

I hope I can make a contribution to this incredibly rich community
of explorers with my experiences, present and future to expand our knowledge.

PS: Sorry for bad English, i'm working on it! Rolling eyes

Ciao, Under the Wave!

Welcome to the Nexus Smile That sounds like quite an interesting job and having a passion for the work one does in life is invaluable. Have you ever tried performing an extraction before?

Also, how was your experience with Datura? Not a substance I ever want to ingest TBH.

See you around!

-DK

Edit: Your english is absolutely fine by the way!

Welcome, Under the Wave!

Good to have another lab worker join us, such potential!

I'd love to hear of your experience(s) with myristicin.

Looking forward to your future posts...

“There is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work."

Music is alive and in your soul. It can move you. It can carry you. It can make you cry! Make you laugh. Most importantly, it makes you feel! What is more important than that?

Greetings and welcome to the Nexus! Smile

Thank you for sharing some background. Ethnobotany is an excellent passion to engage with. Alongside many others you have mentioned. I am also curious to some extent of the experiences you've had with these substances.

Enjoy the forum.

Thank you all! Smile
Yes, I ran an extraction only once, a couple of months ago: I've got bufotenin from seeds of Anadenanthera (Colubrina or Peregrina I do not know), as it was my first extraction has been a wonderful experience that I will share with you as soon as possible in appropriate section.

I had a total of only 4 experiences with Daturas (Stramonium and Inoxia) over two years (with them it is better not to joke). I resent them at very physical level (as well as I had expected), but I find that are worth to be experienced (of course always paying close attention to them!).

With the nutmeg I have made 3 experiences with increasing doses of seed powder swallowed with the help of water completely similar to effects between them apart for the intensity.

I'm already rearranging the notes of the diaries that I kept at the time of the experiences and I will publish them all as soon as possible in sections, so that we can discuss. Very happy

Welcome to the Nexus!

What martial art do you practice?

Did you ever practice tripping?

Interesting about the bufotenine, that's one of the extractions that didn't work so well for me, even trying to recrystallize it in different ways. Only as fumarate salt it crystallized well but when turning to freebase I never got nice crystals out of it.

What was your first psychedelic trip ?

Be well!
