Hello community

After being a spectator for months, this is my attempt to say hello.

I'm just a guy in my 20s trying to perturbate my consciousness for purposes of self-discovery and self-healing. So far I've known cannabis, the lsa seeds, lsd and shrooms (sort of). My plan is to do a couple more mushroom and lsd trips before catapulting myself into the unspeakable.

However, I haven't tripped for some weeks now due to a little intermezzo with the police which might order a hair analysis soon. On the plus side, this is a good opportunity to experiment with the salvia essence I have in my drawer.

While my two low dose mushroom trips (5g and 10g fresh p. tampanensis) were fairly unspectacular, I discovered that lsd triggers some exotic feelings which I couldn't confirm anywhere except here. It tastes metallic or electric (good description by 'endlessness') and when I'm tripping balls (300ug+) I can sort of sense water and electricity flowing nearby. Weird, huh?

What I like about the Nexus is that it is full of topics which in other places are usually trivialized or ignored...

Smile

Music is alive and in your soul. It can move you. It can carry you. It can make you cry! Make you laugh. Most importantly, it makes you feel! What is more important than that?

Welcome to the Nexus!

This is a wonderful place to be. Lots of like minded individuals here actively seeking knowledge about the unknown...Very happy

Anywho, I have a question(s) regarding ps tampanensis. Did you grow them yourself? I am only asking because I currently have some sclerotia going utilizing tampanensis. Also did you eat truffles or were they actual fruited mushrooms? I'm planning on attempting both forms and was curious...

I hope you find everything you are seeking here, friend!

Have a nice day!

Welcome mamamatrix.

If you're currently tripping every week or every couple of weeks, you may want to slow down a bit, especially before trying anything as powerful as DMT.

DMT is not like other psychedelics, and even with other pschedelics that kind of pace strikes me as potentially wreckless.

Too much of anything is a bad thing, and as with all things it's usually the periods inbetween that punctuate and give any action or experience meaning. I was actually very fortunate to experience major healing as a result of my first DMT trip, but large portions of that healing happened long after the chemical had faded as I was able to piece through and unpack what was a very dense and layered experience.

To launch into a new experience before the old one has been processed is to potentially throw away benefits and revelations that you may not be fortunate enough to encounter again. If you're serious about coming out of this ahead, or indeed coming out of it intact, please be patient as you venture down this path.

I am not trying to pass judgement or tell you how to proceed. I'm just trying to caution you based on what I've learned so far.

Safe travels.

P.S.

Metallic tasting LSD (anything more than the faintest of hints) is most likely 25I (aka 25I-Nbome or 2C-I-Nbome) which is a wholey different and far more dangerous chemical. Was there any element of nausea prior to coming up? If so, please do yourself a favor and do not ingest anything purported to be DMT (or really anything at all) obtained from the source who furnished it.

Thank you for all your welcomes. I'm glad I found this place and be assured that some contributions will find their way in here. Although I'm not so much of a chemist, there will surely be many tales and lessons to be told on my journey to hyperspace.

@The Grateful One

I wish I had, might have saved me some involvement with the law Wink They were fresh truffles from N. Europe. I still have 15g left which I plan to ingest in a while, but not before I tried some p. cubensis, this way I may get a better insight into their differences.

The 5g tampanensis dose was perfect for a beginner, it caused a slight body load with moderate euphoria. The 10g trip three weeks later was rather bad, I sat down in darkness to look out for some visuals but instead ended up having negative thought loops and quickly went to sleep.

I see you like Terence too and I'm always happy to see other fans. What's your favorite lecture or book? I've listened to quite a few lectures of his and thought I was done, until I discovered a couple of his 4-10 hour workshops. Big grin

@SomeStray

Thanks for your advice and I'm glad DMT could help you heal yourself. What plants or substances if any did you try before DMT and how did you know that you were 'ready'? I certainly am a little frightened of DMT, but I'm still very curious about it's healing powers.

Thanks for the warning! There was never a nausea in any of my 3 or 4 trips. Many other people have suggested to me that my lsd was some RC. However, from the vendor reviews nobody else has reported a strange taste. Even the opinions on the linked thread seem to differ (someone claims that Shulgin reported a taste). It might in fact be a personal trait like the sense of smell.

Yes, I am indeed a fan of Terence! It is hard to say what lecture or book would be my favorite! I only own one of his books (Food of the Gods) but am looking to collect more of course, all in good time! I like to find a lecture on youtube (or wherever) and play it while I go about my daily routines about the house. I also enjoy Hofmann, Leary, R.E. Schultes, Ratsch and many others!

I had a few years experience with LSD and 25I (which is why I caution you on 25I, that stuff is rough and anyone selling it as "Acid" should not be trusted), some experience with mushrooms, and a lot more experience with good old THC as well as a a decent amount of experience with afew disassociatives which are probably frowned upon in these parts, but have actually done tremendous things to help me take a step back and view the patterns of life from a more distant vantage when combined with a suitable entheogen and the proper headspace.

When I was first given some DMT out of the blue I sat on it for months. Finally a night came when I felt totally calm and knew I was ready. I didn't feel eager, or anxious, just open to it. Nothing I'd experienced prepared me for what followed. It was unbelievable, but I can imagine how rough it would have been if I hadn't been the right state of mind.

The first time I took LSD I tried to "resist" during part of the trip, things got a little out of hand and I was having experiences that I wasn't ready for. Resisting was a bad decision.

I can only imagine how unthinkably unpleasant resisting DMT would be, but those kinds of reflexes can be hard to control. When you feel the edges of yourself dissolving during a breakthrough it's tremendously tempting to try to hold on to your "here and now" as well as your ego. At a breakthrough dosage I imagine that would be a truly painful stretch and one ultimately doomed to fail.
