Hello this is my first post. I hike quite often with my Dog and take long walks and take notice to interesting plants. I noticed this guy and was wondering is it a Mimosa? It seems like it is but I will trust your judgement. Thank you very much and have a great day.

I'd do a search on 'sonoran desert mimosa' or 'sonoran desert acacia' and see if you find anything that looks like it, at least narrowing down the possibilities.

Sorry can't be of more help, good luck!
