Hey folks, wanted to take a minute to say hello. I'm an aeronautical engineering student at a university in northern NY. I am what many would consider to be an experienced psychonaut and have had a go at most of the fare the drug world has to offer. I recently sobered up after my drug use got very out of hand, and have been sober from hard drugs and alcohol for 2 years. I still have interest in psychedelic experiences, and theyre the only things i still indulge in because i wholeheartedly believe that occasionally experencing the world through a different lense can provide invaluable insight abd wisdom
For my everyday life. I am also an experienced (retired) paramedic and am happy to share any info i have regarding harm reduction, etc with the masses.

Music is alive and in your soul. It can move you. It can carry you. It can make you cry! Make you laugh. Most importantly, it makes you feel! What is more important than that?

Thank you! I havw heard some crazy and sometimes outright dangerous stuff regarding drug administration, mixing drugs, treating overdose, etc over the years and Ill be starting work as a relief worker at a halfway house soon, so keeping people safe is important to me. My computer shit the bed a few months ago and i don't have internet so ill have to get online and post a more detailed intro here when i can get to the library.

What psychedelics have you worked with specifically, and how would you say that they've helped in your life?

Welcome to the forum. Smile

So far I've had experience with LSD, P. Cubenesis and cyanscens, 2CI, 2cb, MDMA, and of course DMT, as well as mixtures of the above. I've yet to try any mescaline containing cacti or mescaline itself, but I've always wanted to and I'm finally at a point in my life where i think it is appropriate to take another journey. I have some skill in chemistry so I will likely do a STB mescaline extraction from T. Peruvianus. I enjoy synthesizing my own ride whenever possible, i think it makes me more invested in the experience among numerous safety considerations (Ive already been prosecuted for illegal manufacture so I talk about my past experiences without fear of further attack).

I would say that surprisingly, I've learned the most from LSD, despite considering it the most "recreational" of the psychedelics. I have a very rigid set of rules about set and setting, and the only time i broke them was with LSD and it was by far the most psychologically horrifying thing thats ever happened to me. It taught me much about respecting myself, and respecting the drug, something I had not done in earnest until then. It taught me that reality was something to be cherished and enjoyed as much as hyperspace. I no longer take drugs to escape my reality, instead i took steps to make my reality something I'd rather not run away from. It helped. I get extremely spiritual when i take mushrooms. I often find myself in a bath robe in a lawn chair. People say its inspiring, and i suppose I'm glad to help them on their own journey. DMT is what im the least experienced in, and it showed me the value of being able to relinquish control over events in the world. I am obsessive and often make elaborate plans yo try and control outcomes. DMT taught me that sometimes, I need to let go and just watch and learn what the universe has to show me. I want to explore more with DMT, i dont feel I've seen enough of the message yet, whereas with LSD and shrooms, I've mostly found what i was looking for. DMT has more to teach me.
