Hi Everyone,

I found DMT Nexus a few weeks ago while googling info on sacred cacti. Erowid is a good rescource but I noticed the Nexus Forum had consistently good answers to specific questions I had about species identification, preparation, dosage, etc.

While lurking here and reading about DMT I realized I'd probably done DMT once back in the 70's. I snorted it and I had about 30 minutes of euphoric geometric visuals. It was the first drug I'd done after alcohol and marijuana, but I only encountered it once. To realize this and to read how far DMT has come has renewed my interest in it. I would like to do my own extraction someday but that may have to wait years.

I am moderately experienced with Hallucinogens/Entheogens, with most of the experience being as a teenager. I've done LSD about 30 times, good LSD about 15 times and I've had about 5 really significant LSD experiences. I've done mushrooms several times, and one Hero Dose which affected me profoundly.

As I've grown older I've had to cross off my list whole classes of drugs, but even being completely sober I always considered Entheogens as being different from the rest. I recently had a threshold dose of Scopulicola/Bridgesii tea which was very pleasant, and then a more intense experience with Terscheckii Tea, both using the Two Freeze/One hour simmer with Lemon Juice/ T-shirt method. My experience with the Tersheckii is that it was much more speedy than the Scope/Bridgesii. The Scopulicola/Bridgesii was darker, and more tactile, similar to MDMA in some respects. All drugs exact a price for their usage, and I like how with Cacti you pay the price "Up Front" with THE PURGE.

Anyway, I hope I can be a useful contributor as I've already gained so much useful knowledge here. I'll be sticking to Cacti for a while as it lends itself to my circumstances but I hope I try DMT someday.

Music is alive and in your soul. It can move you. It can carry you. It can make you cry! Make you laugh. Most importantly, it makes you feel! What is more important than that?

Hello and welcome to the Nexus!

I am glad you stumbled across this site. It is one of the most powerful tools any user of psychedelics can have. Here at the Nexus, knowledge is shared and the people are kind. You couldn't ask for a more respectable forum in my experience.

Anyway, I am a huge cacti fan! Such an intriguing and hardy plant. I've worked with Peruvian Torch and San Pedro the most. I have done extractions and tea on both with a relatively high success rate. I personally prefer extracting mainly due to the taste of the tea. I mean, I can get it down but wow it is gross!

Anyway, good luck with any future endeavors!

PEACE
