So heres my question.swim gave a friend some spice about 3 weeks ago.swim went to see him last night and his friend showed
him what he had left over,it has loads of red speckles through it about 50/50 red/yellow. have a pic of this stuff.

its the end product of a stb with xylene redisolved in ipa twice "got stuff like ear wax", then bout two weeks after that disolved in swan lighter fuel and freeze precipitated. which ended up light yellow.

the picture has the two spice samples side by side, both the same batch of spice just stored different. swims is store in a brown bottle wrapped up in loo roll, then put in a jar in the freezer.his friend just had his in a rolling paper in a shoe box.

i realise it might just be oxidation or something but am just interested to know if anyone else has had this happen,or can
actually tell me what happened? swims friend says it melts totally red and could possibly be more potent.

Swim is no expert compared to some here, but doesn't xylene pull the jungle spice(red) and the dmt? Maybe others could shed some light, but that doesn't look right to me. Swims always done Nomans STB with naptha, works like a charm every time.

I have had reddish specks in my DMT before but that is because I wasn't careful enough and some small fragments of MHRB got sucked up with the naphtha.

I second that ... MHRB fragments could also mean lye :/ might wanna rip out those red specks. SWIM has to do that here and there.

i dont understand how it could be this tho, rootbark or lye, because the picture is two piles of the same spice, and the spekled pile was the same as the yellow pile 3 weeks ago??. any other ideas

i was thinking along those lines oxidisation but i'm no expert, ill find out about the heat situation.

I think that since you pulled with xylene you have both, it is the exposure to Oxygen and the time sitting that is causing this.

I am no expert but based on what I have read, those are my thoughts.

Did you have one in a sealed jar and one out in the open or not so sealed?
