Pixar wrote:They are trying to make you focus on distraction by itself in itself, like we do in our everyday live focusing ourselves on finding means to attaint the ever wanted "state of distraction". I swear to fucking God once's you let go of everything that you are (i.e in this case a being-towards-distraction) that's when it becomes crazily deep in every sense. Forget about safety and society, forget about your desires, just look, don't think or judge. It's hard but it is liberating when you get there. Got to find your own techniques though.
In other words, they are distracting you from the state you can attaint and reorienting your focus towards the "state" that you are or think you are. Sort of like the Hedonic treadmill, but of your whole being not just of your happiness. So here you have an opportunity to transcend this "Hedonic treadmill of mundane being" and they know you want to transcend it, so what they do is keep you on the treadmill by distracting you. You can imagine the treadmill has their source of energy : if your on it running then all is good for them, if your not, well, to bad for the little elfs.
When I get close to this "state" the entities throw a party for me, congratulating and welcoming me into the club. It is a very cool feeling, but once's I get to carried away by it it will slowly fade aways and transfigure itself into something else. THIS^^^^^^^!!!!!!!!!! I could have not said it any better...Thank you very much Pixar! Freedom's so hard When we are all bound by laws Etched in the scheme of nature's own hand Unseen by all those who fail In their pursuit of fate

I like Pixar's post very much too, thanks P!
It seems easier to communicate about the distraction then about what if left as a result when the distraction is transcended, here it boils down to:
an attainable liberating state which is crazy deep in every sense.
Many people are using the spice to deliberately enter the treadmill for a firm portion of it's wondrous spinoffs, and why would Pablo Amaringo's visions (paintings) differ a single grain from that, or any interplay from shaman with spirits in sacred good ole Amazon?

I'm at this point. And Pixar is right, you've got to find your own methods. I just don't do anything. My last couple of experiences, I've been feeling something like what the Sufis talk about, a burning feeling of love, that's literally in my heart, I've just been skipping right past the geometry and entities lately. And this burning feeling of love feels so good. But back to the distractions, I'm more interested in insights, this stuff has allowed me to feel my way through the world, I'll trip once month or so and it shows me what I need to work on at work, in relationships, so forth and so on.
So yeah, I think they are distractions, at least for me. At first I was amazed by them, but lately I've been drinking brews with large amounts of harmalas and dmt, and going to some amazingly deep places. and it keeps getting deeper.

Glad you guys liked my take on it !
Just doing nothing is a good "method" and is personally what I try to do. Read up on the philosophy of wu wei it is a wonderful tool for venturing into hyperspace and pretty much everything else in life !
I've been thinking lately : we are social animals so we tend to "over-focus" on the relation and this in turn make's us "over-look" or decentralize ourselves from what we really are into a being focused on the relation. The paradox is that to get the state of feeling one with everything, transcendence, etc you have to in my opinion "cut" what links you to the rest. That also is a wonderful tool (that must be used with moderation) in everyday life since our relations/interactions with people in the current social state that we are in have become sick and this sickness is contagious as they want you to partake in there collective illusion... Just food for though :3
