Music is alive and in your soul. It can move you. It can carry you. It can make you cry! Make you laugh. Most importantly, it makes you feel! What is more important than that?

I used thick lights tek with acrb powder, I added salt before basing which isn't in the tek, also and more salt after 2nd shake as I had some pretty nasty emulsion going on (shook way too hard) which I think may have resulted in a better yield, I can't be sure though as it's the 1st one and I've got nothing to compare it against. I drained the np and left it at room temp and got nice crystal , I did a 2nd pull and put that in the freezer and got waxy goo , I'm gona add a bit more lye and salt before my next pull and let it precepitate at room temp again,I also put the drained nap from pull 1 in the freezer and also got waxy goo, I think room tem precip works better somehow? Unless I haven got the freezer technique right???
Haha yes you very knolodgeable :-)

Thanks for throwing in that tip about the salt! How much salt did you use per the amount of root bark used?

Thank you Cyb!Smile I've been researching all morning looking through the wiki and the forums to make sure I don't screw this up. So going off of that link and the other information I've gathered, the amount of salt used before basifying should be about 50-60% of the root bark weight then? (Sorry I just wanna MAKE SURE I got this right.) And the purpose of adding the salt is that the salt helps to push the DMT out into the solvent when you do your pulls?

Approx 30-40g of Salt per litre of liquid

The object of the salt is to potentiate or amplify the ionic strength of the Basic (Alkaline) mixture, therefore more 'clumps' of molecule will migrate to the Solvent.
It will be down to the amount of water/liquid you have overall, not necessarily the amount of bark.
