almost a month has passed, what happened? did she get better? i hope so.. best wishes for your mom and family.

My mom is doing so much better. She isn't working anymore, since being a doctor requires recertification and her memory isnt functioning as well as it used to. She sometimes forgets and mixes up words, but I always know what she means to say. This was a blessing in disguise. This past year Ive become closer to my mom than ive ever been, or at least as close as i have been with her in the past decade. Im so thankful everyday that shes ok, I always imagine how things would be if she hadnt been ok. She still has a lot of issues however, she gets really tired, dizzy, and is much more emotional now.

I am sorry to hear about the tragic event that happened to your mom. It is good to hear she is doing better!

I just spent the day with my mom, it was her birthday. That being said, this post really speaks to me. There is nothing quite like the love of a mother. Cherish every moment and give her a hug! I would be lost without my mom but for some reason I always find ways around telling her that. It is something I am working on.
