I lost my mother recently which was very painful indeed, so I can only begin to imagine your situation. There's not much anyone can say to make you feel any better, but the best healer in these situations tends to be the passage of time.

Chin up, keep your thoughts positive and have solace in the fact that nothing will take away the fond memories you have.
