Because you shook it, it will take a quite a while to separate, but by morning it should be right. Next time be gentle. You don't want to introduce air into the mixture, so just roll, swirl and invert the jar, rather than shaking it.

Damn it I shouldn't have shaken it uhh I was reading in the STB forums and saw them say not to shake it because the naphtha gets lost in the bark. Ill check on it tomorrow but I shook the hell out of it so im guessing more lye and water will be needed to separate the layers. I need to read before I do I feel stupid

Don't feel bad. It will separate if given a few hours. You've just gotta play the waiting game now.

Btw, how much bark/lye mixture have you got? If it's less than ~500mL, add a bit more water until it's at least 500-700mL, this will give the nps more space to move through the bark.

Idk how much I just eyeballed it. But It separated and I did my first pull its sitting in a wide bowl to dry it's super cloudy and when I spread the liquid I can see tiny white crystals. The bottom layer of naphtha was to hard to pull without getting the lye and bark so I left it in there with more naphtha and swirled it this time. Ill do a second pull tomorrow but this first one I can see tiny little cloudy things. And it has a that smell to it I think it worked

The nathas gone from a white cloudy color to a yellow cloudy color. Idk whats up with that but its drying fast I let the bowl sit in the hot window and its drying faster. Has anyone tried drying with a hot water bath? I know that works for shatter.

Did you handle the Sodium Hydroxide without gloves? I ask because it's a very corrosive substance and can cause severe burns and eye damage if not handled properly.

I did not I had vinger near by though I prefer to work with my bare hands. It wouldent be the first time I burnt my hands my dumbness has caused many scars from chemical burns real burns and general stupidity. Idk though I get it's dumb but I do it anyways I can't work properly with the gloves on but im generally really carefull and always make sure to have a acid when working with bases this strong.

Checked it just now and it's half way dry Some crystals are beginning to form on the bottom of the dish and their super clear my liquid is reasonably clear as well just a slight yellow tinge to it. Its weird because I did STB I assumed I would have jungle spice idk maybe my bark is just good? Im still tripping out but I smoked half the pull and felt hardly anything but body highs. It was weird I felt like my tongue was a snake because it whent numb so it felt like it split in half. I whent with a good friend to the lake to smoke it and started smoking out of a light bulb got 5 good hits and then started feeling it but did not haluante at all. What did I do wrong? Is it the NMT that made me feel this way because I can still feel it but it was like 45 minutes ago im coming down though. I did however have closed eye visuals of ronald mcdonald doing some crazy dance. Oh and it was the goo when it dried all the way. IMHO, a light bulb is one of the worst ways to vape DMT. The numbness is often caused when the DMT is being burned rather than vaporized.



I would look into a better smoalking method. Making enhanced leaf or changa isn't very hard and produces wonderful results with minimal chance of burning your spice. That or look into the GVG or other similar devices. Proper vaporization technique is crucial for a successful journey!

Well I do have some syrian rue I could extract that and put it on a bowl with tobacco and rue extract. I brewed some aya today and was wondering when a good time to take it would be I smoked a good 100mg but I feel like I wasted more than I smoked I might pick up a freebase pipe my bowl disappeared I thought it might be a sign not to use it now. But my god that was fun though on the walk back to the car I kept thinking I was in a nature documentary it looked like an HD tv or something it's hard to explain but for the first time in my life I feel I truly paid great attention to what's right in front of me the same way I watch tv.
