Mods, please move this if this is in the wrong area.

So, I'm planning a bushwalking trip to gather A. obtusifolia twigs. I live in Sydney, so it's winter right now. That means no flowers. Is there any way to ID A. obtusifolia besides the leaf phenotype? Also, for any Sydney siders, I'd appreciate any advice on where to find abundant trees in the Sydney area. I'll also greatly appreciate a PM if that sort of thing isn't allowed in discussion. I'm not going to be gathering any bark, only twigs.

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

The characteristic blunt tipped phylodes are pretty obvious when you see them beside most other acacias. They tend to be quite thick and stiff and have distinct margins (which look like veins filled with resin). At this time of year, not much else to go off. I don't know where there's a lot of them close to Sydney (I quite a few on the central coast). If this has any regard to DMT, maidenii is superior, IMO. You can find them in bulk in the blue mountains and the alkaloid content is often comparable to ACRB.

I'm not a big fan of SWIM. I mean, I've never met the guy, but any time I hear about him, he's doing something sketchy.
