Been working quite hard at a new job lately, and now I'm looking to reward that hard work with a well earned psycovacation. Looking for something new, and I'm ubable to obtain most of the illegals. My experiences involve DMT, DXM, Dimenhydrinate (yuck), marijuana, and Aminita Muscaria (which I loved). Just looking to explore my mind or look at the world around me in a very different light.

Any ideas?

Oops, forgot to mention I did try salvia a few times. Had a tendency to "become" things. A wooden toy, a wood door knob.. Interesting stuff.

Yopo I have been curious about, and even HBWR since it failed the last time I tried that. So I'm thinking cacti or yopo..

cactus is great!.. and, when in season I recommend you find some psilocybin mushroms..they wont let you down!..I like LSA as well..gave me amazing visions the first time I tried it.

BTW..what was it about aminita's that you loved sooo much??..I am facinated with this mushrooms, but never tried it..I had an old gf who's father died from eating the wrong "magic" mushroom..whatever that means really I dunno..but it has kept me cautios as to the effects of the amanitas in north america compared to european strain..I hear its much easier to obtain visions from the euro ones..what were the visions like?

Cactus....San Pedro means St.Peter, the one who holds the keys to Heaven.

Tried it recently, it is now my number one entheogen. It does last a while but it is worth the time. Very healing, very gentle, even moreso than 'shrooms. If I never ate a 'shroom again I would be okay but I would miss cactus. ALOT. 'Shrooms are great but cactus is the best.

Never tried Amanitas, hear such conflicting stories, it keeps getting bumped down the list.

fractal: I have gone on several psilocybin walks with no success. Even tried growing, and I failed.. no contams, just not enough water in the vermiculite. Major bummer, haha! As for Aminitas, at first I hated the sudden sweating and the super nap it induced for about 30 minutes. But then waking up to just a joyous bliss. Felt like everything was beautiful. Visuals were light, I don't remember how much I took, but I could swear that everything was brighter, sharper up close, then a sharp decline at distance. Seriously blurry vision at over 5-10 feet away. hehe I'm one of the lucky ones to not get nausea apparently, my stomach had only slight discomfort.

jason: Amazing. Smile I'm fairly sure I'm going to go for cactus. And you should try a low dose of Aminita, you never know, it might surprise you!

Update!

I ended up becoming friends with a pretty awesome dude and he had some friends that were in possession of wonderful Psilocybin mushrooms!

The set: The back of a farm that can only be described as f'ing NARNIA! Haha, it was a cow field, but the cows were chill. We found an overhanging tree, put a tarp in the branches, a tarp on the ground below that, got rid of any dangerous branches, set up chairs, and tiki torches. The weather said scattered storms, and I was ALL for that.

We downed 2.5g each at 8:00pm. At 8:32, I saw the world change. There was laughing, and rambling about everything for what felt like an hour. I glanced down at my phone to see that no more than 8 minutes had passed. It was going to be a loooong night. So before I got caught in the loop, loop, loop that the others were unkowingly starting, I dashed outside. It felt so good to run. But I stopped dead in my tracks when I looked at the overcast sky, now a bright pink/purple, contrasted against the vivid green grass. I stared at the treeline across the field, and it slightly zoomed towards me. "AMAZING!" I thought. But then.. the clouds. With a thought (and I thank DMT adventures for this) and a little concentration, I could form whatever I wanted out of the cloud cover.

... More on this later, I have to eat, holy crap I'm hungry. Pleased

You got that right, fractal! It's burned into my memory!

So to continue: My fascination with the clouds lasted until the sun went down. Only every now and then did I become distracted from them. Once, I looked at the cows across the field and saw them multiplying. Calves kept run out from behind the cows, over and over until there was double the amount of cows before! I blinked that away and saw them normal again.

The rain started to pick up as soon as it got darker. I loved it. Rain is my favorite weather by far. I spent a long time just standing in the field, my hands outstretched, laughing and swaying in the wind. I did my best to stay far from one of the other guys. He had spent the whole day telling us how cool his grandparents were with us being out there, but as soon as the shrooms hit, his head was down and he was freaking out about what they would say if they saw him like that. We did everything we could to get him out of that spiral, but he would just become even more defensive. I thought of him as a rather rude child.

Eventually the rain and wind got too heavy for everyone else, I was still loving the hell out of it, but I wasn't going to stay out there by myself. So we all make our way back to the house. One friend was feeling rather sober by this point (he ate slightly less), so he scouted ahead to see where the grandparents were. They were watching Pineapple Express, and were very "chill" as my friend put it. But Mr. Panic got all freaked out again and there we were, standing in the rain trying to decide whether or not to go in.

We finally go up to the guy's room, dodging a lawn gnome that was creepy sober, but hysterical during the trip. The next 2 hours or so is us sitting in this guy's room, repeating the same series of events in word for word perfect form. Then they started repeating the series of events, whilst adding "we just talked about that," and "we just talked about talking about that!!" So now Mr. Panic is all "Oh I'm so much better now," while everyone else is on a spiral down. See, there was nothing to do in this guy's room. No TV, no radio, no music. Any time we would talk about going on a walk outside, he would get a rude tone and say "No. That's really not cool right now, just stay in here and be chill." In fact, every time I would step outside with a couple buddies to smoke a clove cig, he would pop his head out "guys, I really don't know if you should be out here, I just think you should be back inside."

So after winding down the last 3 hours of a very 6 hour trip in the most boring room of my life, we check each other's pupils and motor functions. We find out in secret that the panic guy was trying to get us to leave, and was hoping we were going to get so bored that we would have to leave. We designate a driver, and we get in the car. By this point, we feel TOO sober, and just plain annoyed and tired. We get back to a friend's house and I eat quite possibly the best tasting nutter butters of my life. We all find it hard to go to sleep and end up crashing around 4:00 am.

The next day I had a horrible headache and felt quite strange, but managed. I assume the headache was partly due to the fact I was scared to drink fluids during the trip. It just felt so weird! Moral of the story: drink plenty of fluids, find a way to get far from anyone having a completely paranoid breakdown. Pleased

I'd say if you're planning on having a vacation in reward for hard work Mescalin is the way to go: San Pedro, Peyote or some pills. The trip is nice and long and it's cleaner than mushrooms.

Ah well I'm glad you got to try mushrooms...I think partly due to DMT use, but a strong dose of mushrooms takes me deeper than anything else can...VERY DMT lke visuals, but much more friendly, gentle, flowing character..don't give up on thr mushroom yet, has given me some of my most magical experiences.

Also cactus/mescaline should be a priority to seek out...a very positive thing to work with.
