Swim is wanting to include his old lady, best mate and his wife on a healing trip very soon. SWIM has extracted several times, so he says and has smoked with his friends above, but wants a longer process to take it all in. Living in the country is a big plus..bonfires, hammock, and stars galore..such a serine and secluded environment which is key imo. And cant forget all those happy happy trees!!!

My question is Swim has plentiful rue and acacia but has never made a brew or pharma yet and was looking for pointers on on a good, healing, visual journey for his mates and himself with what he has to work with. There's a plethora of info on this site but would love some info on what you think would be best to start on. Extracted/caps/brew..what would you recommend? Thanks my friends and peace with love to all.

Live plants. Sustainable, ethically sourced, native American owned.

Depends how patient and commited you are. If you want a lot of pure experiences then you should spend a good solid couple of days extracting it. If you just want a few nice experiences with a bit of nausea (tannins plant oils etc) then just boil the standard acacia dose up and drink the tea with pharma maoi.

Smoking DMT with friends isnt too serious - pretty easy to navigate. Pouring brew for friends can be much more intense and can be a lot of responsibility.... Personally, I wouldnt recommend it unless you have a lot of experience with your brew - I have heard some crazy horror stories from people who experienced them drinking in groups without an experienced facilitator.... I say this because you dont seem to know how you want to make your brew which makes me think you have less experience with drinking....

Drinking and smoking are completely different! Its not a longer version of something similar, but something completely different in almost every way.

Have you drank the type of brew you are considering before? If not, I think you should spend some time testing on yourself before sharing it with others... It's important to get the dosage down and know whether your cooking tech works, and also probably helpful if you know how to navigate that space somewhat.... You dont have to take this advice, but I still wanted to offer it Smile

If you want DMT to last longer, it can go good with a small amount of mushrooms, or just keep passing it back and forth and smoking more to keep going in.... I think either of these options would be easier then navigating a rue or Ayahuasca like brew....

Appreciate the replies and definitely plan on testing myself before hand. I planned on experimenting myself before bringing them in the mix, as I did before they smoked with me and we had a great time. Curious if the journey is more body or visual this route. Thanks much and I'll get back after the testing.Very happy

Had to edit to thank you once more for watching out.good peeps ^^

Can you elaborate on the horror stories?

Drinking is way more intense then smoking.... Much more physical, longer lasting, immersive, powerful.... I would say Ayahuasca is the only substance I wouldnt be comfortable pouring for others because it is so intense and physical. I have tons of experience with other psychedelics but after dozens of ceremonies with Ayahuasca I feel like a baby when I drink her.

I have helped guide many ceremonies for other people, but I feel like I need years of experience drinking Ayahuasca and also way more experience dieting before I would consider pouring Aya for others. Dieting is very important in this regard in my opinion (and sometimes the diets are cooler then drinking the Ayahuasca in my experience).

In my experience, Ayahuasca and similar teas are not orally active DMT, and DMT is not the main active ingredient - I feel like DMT is an additive that gives the brew more power, but that the main force is the vine or rue itself (you can have very powerful experiences with just the vine). For me the experience has never been very DMT like...

If you havent really drank Ayahuasca or similar analogs before I would consider it starting over from scratch to work with these ones... Others may feel different, but this is my experience. After working with every substance around and having tons of experiences over the years, Ayahuasca is something completely different for me because it has so much intensity and power.

I have heard people having dark lingering effects for up to 3 years afterwards - because they opened themselves up in a way they couldnt handle... I recently heard a first hand account of a lady who drank and ended up blacking out and seizuring while foaming at the mouth. I have heard of people screaming and running into the street. I have heard of people vomiting for 2 days straight thinking they were going to die, and I have heard of people choking on their own vomit before.... Very worrisome stuff.

I think more then any other substance this one needs a lot of experience before you pour it for others.
