I've had great success with Earthwalker's a/b tek for ACRB. The only thing that i dislike in this tek is how much naphtha it requires you to use. it may not be that much, but because of environmental laws naphtha is unavailable where i am so i must order it.

so heres my question... is the mini a/b towards the end neccessary?

i have about half a quart of naphtha left and want proceed with another 250g extraction but will not be able to pull it off if i go through the mini a/b at the end.

will i still yield the pretty white x-tals i've been getting or the yellow goo everyone complains about?

IME You would most likely yield yellow crystals/goo without the mini a/b but don't discount it, many people here seem to prefer the full spectrum to crystals. IME the mini a/b is essential with acrb if you want the white/clear crystals... I have done it with and without the mini a/b and I always seem to get a much bigger yield when I do a proper cleanup but that's just my personal experience.

If you freeze precipitate you should be able to recycle most of your naptha. If not perhaps you should look into xylene/toluene. Or on a day off you could drive somewhere and haul 100 litres of naphtha back with you

hmm i was wondering if i defated well and with the backsalt that the mini a/b wouldn't matter?

ill wait and see what other nexians think...

another reason why i was thinking of not doing the mini AB next time is because after the acid and base cooks when i do my pulls they are clear for the most part but turn milky white.
