Hello. I'm rather young (early 20's) and I do NOT have much experience with anything remotely like DMT. That coupled with being emotionally unstable at this time, it's just not wise that I attempt an extraction and travel. ...so I guess this is just me trying to convince myself not to jump the gun and try it yet. Not really an introduction. Whoops. I'm very reserved as is, so here I won't introduce myself. Rather, I have some questions. 1: I have no chemistry background or teachings. I would need to break it down and do extensive research, but- How difficult would it be to carry out this process, from shredded root to spice? In your opinion. Thank you. Hope I don't reek too much of naive newbie-ness.

You should be able to find the answers to most any question you can think to pose in the FAQ and the wiki or by old fashioned googling, try entering site: dmt-nexus.me before your search term for site specific results. If you can't find it in one of those places, stop in the chat for some direction. Welcome to the Nexus.

welcome. the process itself isn't rocket science and just takes some research and planning, but do not attempt an extraction until you are 100% ready and have all your questions answered, it will make your first time a lot easier. having a background in chemistry helps but is not absolutely necessary, just need to follow directions and educate yourself on how to safely handle substances used. i'm quite young myself (recently graduated highschool), i was eager to extract and try out DMT from the moment i heard about it over a year ago. i kinda rushed my first tek, still got a decent amount of product to test with, but when i finally did have my experience, it was clearly telling me i wasn't ready. you need patience. if you feel you're not 150% ready, don't attempt it. the smallest little doubt or worry in your mind will be multiplied a thousand times once you take that first or second toke. third will blast you off, but you need an incredible amount of willpower to take that third hit haha. good luck

Hi there 92man!
Ever thought about San Pedro cactus? It is very gentle and loving and also very easy to make and to find (it is legal to buy and sell - you can get it from Amazon or from Home Depot). It is also especially good at helping you heal and understand your emotions. Not nearly as intense as DMT, but lasts a lot longer. I have never heard of anyone having a bad San Pedro experience before, though sometimes they are difficult if you are facing emotions you were previously afraid to face...
Nice thing about DMT is it only lasts 10 minutes... I always thought it was going to be scary before I smoked, and the second I blew my breath out - every time felt like sudden relaxation.
Chewed Salvia is another helpful one for depression (also legal to buy and sell). If you microdose it it has very nice anti-depressant effects without the visionary state, but when you chew even the visionary state is usually fairly gentle (easy to control dosage as well).
Hope you learn what you are looking for and I hope when you finally decide to take the plunge it is helpful for you!

Welcome to the Nexus! Extracting is generally pretty simple. Do your homework and always keep safety at the forefront of your mind. People with no formal chemistry training can and do complete extractions everyday. There are a lot of extraction teks out there with varying degrees of difficulty. Patience is a great tool to utilize as well and it sounds like you know better than to just rush into things blindly! But whatever you choose to do, be smart and be safe! Oh, and have a lot of fun too of course! Best of luck -The Grateful One- New to The Nexus? Check These Out: One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish
