i stored away 2 grams of dmt in my freezer and i left it there for about two months well about an hour ago i check on it and notice that half of it is burnt. i mistakenly stored it right by the part that heats up to melt away ice. stupid, terrible, i seriously can't believe i did that and it was in a plastic bag. its so absurd i store something in a freezer in it burns. Well about 35% of product is untouched and fine, a white powder and about 50% of it is in yellow lumps and the remainder is goo and vaporized and gone into oblivion i'm afraid.
well my question is what are those yellow lumps? is it a mixture of oxidized dmt and nn dmt?
appreciate any insight. i'm looking foward to engaging in this community and learning somethings and having some fun

Yeah, It is still n-n-dmt with a bit of dmt-n-oxide. Some of the best spice I have had was yellow lumps I assume the n-oxide transforms the crystals in to goo even when they are still in the nn-dmt molecular formation. I assume this because when I FASA my goo, dmt-fumarate suddenly pops out of the goo and afaik dmt-n-oxide doesn't transform into dmt-fumarate so it must be nn-dmt hiding in goo form. Acetone the goo onto some herbs and it will be lovely

DMT is polymorphic...so it's the same stuff in a different form. I remember one year I was camping and had a bit of DMT in my pocket.... Stood to close to the fire and when I checked it later it was melted. Smoked it anyways - and it worked fine. I think it might have lost a little potency, but maybe not even that....

I have a suggestion. Perform a recrystallization with what remains of your dmt. It is very simple to do. Doesn't take too long either. I like to use Heptane for my rex but naphtha will work just fine too. Good luck! Well because dmt converts to dmt-fumarate and nmt converts to nmt-fumarate which leave dmt-n-oxide which doesn't convert to fumarate... so when you do the conversion and you evaporate the remaining acetone there is left some oily gunk which must be dmt-n-oxide.
