Hi

I first got interested in DMT listening to Joe Rogens podcast ever since i have had a deep fascination with the culture and inner exploration that accompany s this truly amazing molecule.

At first i was interested in floating and isolation tanks and gradually moved onto where i am now. I had a look around and saw that you could actually do almost everything your self to get that first experience, it must of been 3 months of reading and just learning before i got the courage to go ahead and make my own.

Got hold of 50g mhrb and went from there at the time i thought what i had was quite a large amount but due to a lack of scales i had no idea that it was more than likely very little.

I tried vaping it at first with a homemade quite ghetto bulb bong type thing... failed miserably. I had shared my intrigue with my close friends and told them what i had done at first they seemed a bit dismissive until i actually showed them the end result. Curiosity got the better of them and one night we tried some that i had dissolved in naphtha and added some rolling tobacco not knowing if it would actually work as intended. Rolled it up into a rollie and we each took 2/3 good pulls and off we went, it was not a breakthrough but was more than enough to peek both our interests.

The setting was not great as there was other people drinking and generally having fun not in the same room but we could still hear them. But i wouldn't change the experience given the chance spent the next few hours taking about what we had seen what it felt like and before we knew it time had flown by and it was 5.30am.

Just a little intro too where i am in this new found space ( been almost 7 months now ) and a glad to be here!

Long time lurker and an avid newcomer.

I also had a few thoughts i am looking to improve on some later experiences and first things i must do before i go any further is get a proper scales and something like a GVG. But my question is will there be a difference in my experience with time of day say at night you have had a whole day of input from the outside world thus impacting on your trip.. say if i did it first thing when the mind is fresh maybe have like a half hour of silent contemplation before hand then go in, or an alternative waking up from rem sleep and going right in? Any thoughts?

Music is alive and in your soul. It can move you. It can carry you. It can make you cry! Make you laugh. Most importantly, it makes you feel! What is more important than that?

Hello and welcome to the Nexus! Thank you for the introduction!

Experiencing DMT during the day is roughly the same as experiencing it at night. Really it is quite subjective to the user. I would try both and get a feel for what you are comfortable with. I personally journey before bed (mainly due to time constraints/work/etc.)

However, many people on here will mention that being in a dimly lit room is best. But to each their own, right? Very happy

I would highly recommend getting proper scales. Mine is a 0.001 (milligram scale) and it has never steered me wrong. As for the GVG, well...it is one of the most talked about devices for vaping on the Nexus! Everyone seems to love it! I do not own one but I hope to someday. As of now I make enhanced leaf with my product so a GVG is not a necessity for me.

So once again, welcome and may you find everything you are looking for!

PS. I love your drawing!!

GVG kicks ass! Try making some enhanced herbs or changa. Welcome!

Freedom's so hard
When we are all bound by laws
Etched in the scheme of nature's own hand
Unseen by all those who fail
In their pursuit of fate

I like a candle burning thats all i did try with some visuals on a big screen was cool but kinda shaped what i saw when i closed my eyes and relaxed. Also this song The Book of Eli Original Soundtrack: Panoramic is sometimes a nice treat just softy playing in the background.
