Hello everyone!

I would like to start off by giving a brief history of my use of psychedelics and the evolution of my perception on the use of different substances as tools. At 14 (way too young) I took LSD for the first time for purely recreational purposes and it was my first psychedelic experience ever. It was thoroughly enjoyable and spectacular, but there was something more to it than that, something much deeper calling me to more of these types of experiences. After this I continued the use of psychedelics by having many more experiences with both psilocybin mushrooms and LSD and I also started to take psychedelics for spiritual use instead of recreational. I started to appreciate everything more as a whole in stead of comparing and separating everything. I started looking within my self deeper and I started being more truthful with myself and others around me. It was a really intense and - for a while traumatic - LSD journey that made me realize how connected I am with every other soul in the universe and that separation is illusion. I realised the reason for these substances (psychedelics) being illegal is that it allows people to break free and stop being controlled by the mind. These realizations led me to research the history of the psychedelic experience and what it results in and what it's purpose is. It also caused me to research many religions and understand that they are all so similar and that the difference is just in perception. About 2 years ago from today I was getting very interested in DMT and ayahuasca (mostly ayahuasca) because of the profound, life-changing experiences people were reporting. I had decided that I would leave ayahuasca (although that might change soon) for a time when I am able to have an experienced user (such as a shaman) present to guide the experience. So after researching smoked/vaporized dmt for a few months, I got some DMT. So I tried to vaporize some DMT in a home made device and ended up combusting most of it, but still had quite some effects (with eyes closed I saw a tunnel into which I was being pulled into but the pull wasn't strong enough). I tried a second time in a few weeks with the rest of the material with less effects than the first time. I was not deterred.
I have had a lot of family related things happen in my life since then so I haven't had the "ability" to get my hands on some more DMT. The next time, I will simply use a better more efficient delivery method (electronic convection vaporizer) through a water tool. That is all I have to share on my entry into the world of psychedelics. I would just like to say, I have been reading posts on the Nexus forums for over a year and I'm very happy there's such a wonderfully constructive and accepting place to share insights and experiential knowledge. I really look forward to making relationships with everyone around here and contributing to the expanse of experience here.
Love and light,
