You sure have discovered a goldmine. Here at the Nexus, there are many discussions revolving around botanicals, medicines and traditional practices. Psychedelics / entheogens are definitely paradigm shifting experiences. And with the balanced care, knowledge and experience, one can inspire, share and expand those aspects through many different expressions.

Care to share any interest in any particular traditional medicinal system? Such as Chinese, Indian, South American, North American etc.

Also, I don't find spiritual 'rules' as so much necessary as you may think. Which rules do you speak of? If anything for me, personal rules may aid in my grounding during preparation followed through with the initial experience, but other than that I'm mostly free of mind to allow peaceful recognition of any inner changes, vision or wisdom.

I can also see psychedelics having a negative role as well.. dangerous rarely but definitely there psychologically and infrequently physically, such as rolling around.. even life changing experiences can have consequences. It's a phenomena that many can relate to. Sometimes external surroundings play a significant part in interacting with these experiences. To each their own.. there is no need to rush into anything not clear enough yet.

Good choice to join the nexus, as there is a heck of a lot of good info here & a lot of really good people to help with any questions that you may have. Just make sure to read the attitude section & keep the questions within the rule guidelines & you'll get along here just fine!
