I wondering how much DMT acid water(water with vinegar) can absorb?
Format: 200ml = 500mg DMT-Freebase...

Live plants. Sustainable, ethically sourced, native American owned.

I can't seem to find many resources on the quantitative amount, mostly sources state that DMT is readily soluble in acids. If there's a solubility table, I'd love to see it!

The only source I found with a quick look was "1.43X10+4 mg/L at 25 deg C (est)"

As in, roughly 14.3 grams of DMT salt will dissolve in one liter at 25 degrees Celsius.

mrabc, may I ask why?

I'm not sure the exact numbers, it also will depend on salt form (or acid in water), but DMT should be VERY soluble in acidic water. Definitely more than 15g per one liter acidified water. In bufoman's dmt fumarate clean up, he uses 12ml water per gram of DMT fumarate, so it must be at least that amount.

Hallo whippits, endlessness

that's great to know. I'm not sure about the plant quality. I've cooked(low heat) 200g for 14 hours to 500ml and i tried a half glass of the acid water. The strength was middle and hold for around 3.5 - 4 hours. I've frozen the stuff. I like to put 200g into the existing acid solution of confusa again and cook it for the same timeframe until i get 500ml to get more of the product. The best and biggest container is around 1 liter. Need some space in the container for NaOH and NPS for extraction.

Is it the same for basified water? I wonder why the people in the extraction teks use < 500ml water.

Using basified water will convert the DMT to freebase, which is not water soluble. That is why the DMT migrates to the non-polar solvent after basification.

This make sense... Can i cook it down without losing some DMT with 500ml + NaOH? Just to be sure.

I would suggest not reducing the basified water. It will bubble and froth, creating an unsafe environment.

Upon reducing a solution, the amount of solute dissolved in the solution remains the same. However due to the decreasing volume of the solvent, the concentration will rise.
