Howdy,
Firstly I'd like to start by say I g I've never made BHO,
And in my current circumstances I can't make it either,
However there may be some methods I could use to make wax/oil.

Anyway, my question is,
Is there another method to turn kief into wax?
I've read that running the kief the same as you would trim/bud is the best way,
However I cannot do this as yet.
So I was wondering if anyone e has another method.

Thank you all Very happy

Depending on the quality of the kief you can use isopropynol alcohol. It is usually not used for the herb since it also extracts chlorophyll leading to a black product, but that shouldn't be a concern with kief. Pleasse be aware iso is still very flammable/toxic and should be used in a well ventilated area.

Personally, I wouldn't bother making it into wax. I prefer old school hash over the solvent extractions, it has a much wider range of tastes, and seems to work better then a few dabs do.

Anyways, what I would do with that is press and heat it to make a brick of hash. I have done this a few times with about half a gram to a gram of kief and have had wonderful results.

Place the kief on parchment paper, and wrap it up into a little disk like shape as tightly as possible.
Wrap more parchment paper around this, also very tightly.
Next wrap this in aluminum foil tightly.
Hold the foil with some sort of tongs or something, and quickly move the flame from a light around underneath it. Only do enough to make it warm to the touch, then press the hell out of it for a few seconds. Repeat this process as many times as desired.

Once it starts becoming more of a solid chunk, you can allow it to get hotter before pressing. If you smell burning kief, your making it too hot.

Once this is all done to your satisfaction, unwrap everything and enjoy you chunk of hash. You'll notice it has a dark, hard crust on the outside, but the inside should be lighter and more flexible.

This won't be able to be smoked like dabs, but it will have more flavor and a wider range of effects, due to not having to heat the product as much as you do to remove the butane. The heat used to remove the butane I find will evaporate a lot of the terpenes and cannabinoids that have lower boiling points. The above mentioned process though better preserves these.

Hope this helps.

However, these are just delusions made to feel that freedom, because that freedom will never come. Any experiments done are purely figments of the imagination, and are falsified to the highest degree. Nothing should be taken seriously from a crazy mans mind.

Check this out, fresh new technique using low heat from a hair straightener to mechanically separate the resin from plant matter (either coarse hash or buds).

Rosin Tech

I've seen people get resin that is nicer than BHO by doing this, especially by pressing the kief through a fine-mesh screen (e.g. 20 micron) to filter particulates.

Did a quick press, first time trying that rosin teck.
Didn't come out too bad Smile
Don't have a proper rig, but I sandwiched some in my bong and it got me retardedly stoned!
Thanks again for the link! Very happy
