Hi everyone,
So I am a late-comer to the whole mind-altering substance scene. I never really got into alcohol, never smoked, and certainly despised all of those illegal drugs! Horrible life ruining things that they were!

Until, of course, I met the right people, in the right places, and was slowly brought around to realise that all things can be used sensibly, as tools, to help and to aide us through life - even if those same things can be abused. It is just important to recognise both of those facts and educate ourselves first.

Anyway, there is quite a lot to the larger story, but I'll cut to the DMT side of things - I was fortunate enough to meet someone who is something of an expert in entheogens, and this person helped me to have a great first experience.

I am now here because I am keen to extract some of my own. Fortunately I have many many acacia trees nearby - though I am still uncertain exactly which they are (probably maidenii, but possibly not). I have been lurking for many weeks already, reading the acacia identification threads and the A/B extraction threads, and am hoping to contribute from my own experiments and get some other perspectives on the trees I have found.

Thanks guys...

Hello FMP,

Interesting how the naturally ubiquitous(but hidden in plain sight) alkaloid can/does engender such fascination/awe in the mind of the "beholder". A sacramental grace, indeed!

You Aussies bring a lot to the table despite what seem to be rather stringent "restrictions". Good on ya'll.

Welcome and good travels down Austral.
