Hello everyone!

I am returning to DMT after a 37 year hiatus. Just had it for one brief period in 1977. It was just available to me then and not at any other time. My first psychedelic was LSD which I first tried in 1974 in high school. Very powerful. My first strong dose was a 300 ug 4 way windowpane. I used it hundreds of times through high school, and the military out in California. It always made me feel the joy of a child at the beginning of the world. I tried mushrooms a few times over the years and enjoyed them.

In my 30's, I moved to New Mexico and became involved with the Peyote Foundation during it's brief existence. I used peyote in nontraditradional settings with the Foundation and also in a traditional setting at several Native American Church meetings. I was always a fan of Carlos Castenada. Although the Indians I discussed it with didn't believe his stories were true.
I'm 56 now suffereing with depression and PTSD from my military service. Peyote really helped with my depression but I live in the east now so it isn't available to me. I have tried a few extractz with not the greatest success but some success. I am hoping DMT will help me get off some of the toxic meds the VA has me on for my maladies. I've had two DMT experienes from my small successes recently. The first was almost a breakthrough: Evrything was flowing with some colors and I could almost see a Mayan god on the turned off TV. The second was just flowing colors on all surfaces. It was amazing how clear my mind was during both expereiences. No mental intoxication like other hallucinogens.
I've also tried other substances. I now use Cannabis for my chronic pain instead of prescription narcotics at the advice of my physician. Unfortunately legal MMJ isn't where I'm at. I can't use the ayuasca mixture due to some of my maladies so must use the DMT only.
I enjoy Yoga, reading history and about other cultures, fine Cognac, and good food. I'm fairly well travelled having.been to every continent but Antartica. I hope to learn here and make my own modest contributions. Thank You for having me. Peace and Blessings to You and Yours.

Welcome Rocket3476stz!

Glad to see there's someone in my age bracket on hereVery happy !

Sounds like you're on a really good path.

There's an awful lot of invaluable information here on the nexus & I've found a lot of friendly folk who tend to be generous, kind & respectful with their time & advice.

Etched in the scheme of nature's own hand
Unseen by all those who fail

But that night sky!
Mr. Curious is just that. Curious. He like to read and discuss all sorts of things he would never try or do. For example, he just spent a good amount of time reading about climbing mountains, even though he has no desire or intention to try it.
