Hi, Sorry if is another boring question, but i didn't understand well, it's a good idea to freeze the raw material in my case acacia confusa r bark and mimosa hostilis or didn't change anything ? Since in my extraction i freeze more time before start it's a good idea to freeze in part of 50 gr each, so i pick up one or two when i start to extract, this because is possible that pass a year before i extract again...i have 400 gr acrb and 500 gr m.hostilis. So it's good to do or didn't change nothing ? i don't want that my material go bad or oxidise. Thanks >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 0 <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Supposedly, freezing is done to break down the bark through expanding ice.
Some say it will increase the yield. I don't know, I'm still doing the freeze.

Thanks, but i'm refering to the storage the plants for long period in the freeze, in 50gr package for easily use in extraction. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 0 <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Bark that been dried will keep for a long time if kept cool, dark, dry and sealed airtight. Freezing doesn't hurt, but should not be very necessary either.

Thanks, i think that i freeze it, i have a lot of space in a big freezer and so when i start to extract with freeze breaking cells....is just frozen once. If doesn't hurt i would like to do like this. Bye >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 0 <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

If doesn't hurt i would like to do like this. Bye It wouldn't hurt anything to store bark in the freezer. But I think there should be a clarification. The freezing that is done at the start of an extraction is with bark that has been saturated with water. It is the mechanical growth of water crystals which tears open cells walls, not the act of freezing the bark itself. Roses are red Violets are blue Take the third hit Then youuu....
