I was thinking... what about using Griffonia Simplicifolia extract, mainly composed by the serotoninergic triptofan?
Could that significativly change the experience?

The initial test was done with the 10x enhanced passion flower because on it's own, that leaf was not introducing enough harmala effects (when used in small amounts, perhaps a whole joint may have worked).

So, impure harmala could potentially also infuse cleanly into leaf without becoming sticky goo (using acetone) if you evaporated very very slowly (or used a slower evaporating solvent per soulfood's suggestion). Ethanol will be tested in the future with impure rue extract.

PS: Could you consider adding a small warning to your initial post regarding potential contraindication of harmala ingestion with recreational and pharmaceutical SSRIs, stimulants, and MAOIs? Changa makes everything very convenient and it wouldn't be good for someone to accidentally offer some to someone at a party who may be taking prescription Zoloft or Ritalin (or worse might be rolling or tweaking). Although most changa probably has minimal haramalas, it's still best to be cautious and knowledgeable. Educated, safe use should always be promoted.

Not enough? Weird, was your mix made 1:1? The first time passionflower (regular herb) was used a cone was had with minimal effects, so the material was chopped up thoroughly and large cones were administered with very very profound and direct effects - strongest experience ever.

As a general rule you should always evaporate inside in an open well ventilated room.

Sounds like a safe idea I suppose..

Guys, a question for you: Do you think that, by using a oxygen flame lighter, ( like THIS ), wich has an higher temperature, something will be destroyed?

I 2nd this question. I used a Jet lighter, and I seemed to get hit somewhat hard from the spice anyway! Would be nice to know if a Jet lighter destroys any spice.

I am thinking about an Oneirogenic Changa at this moment:

Calea Dreamherb (maybe an 5x extract)- a pinch of Silene Capensis Root - shredded Iboga Root Bark /2x Extract
(1-3 Datura Stramonium Seeds could also be added) - enhanced with DMT and possibly Harmaloids

A small pinch of Natural Tobacco could also be added if one would like that.

One may smoke it in total darkness and take some Melatonin / Choline before .

What do you think ?

Out of interest, has anyone included any Brugmansia or Datura flower or leaf in their changa mixes?? If so, pray do tell...

Would be interested to know how these plants influence the changa experience. They do have broncho dilating effects which might be beneficial, and other, possibly weirder effects...

Nepeta transcaucasica(Catmint)
and
Peganum harmala(Syrian rue)

wanted to know if i could use these herbs for Changa and what's your experiences with it.
I grow Catmint by myself and so i wanted to know if i could use it for a "changa-mix".

wow... ...just dropped out of changa space...audio driving can really make all the difference..singing slowly through the experience adds tons of depth. I want to find some more musical herbs to add to a mix now..cannabis of course, but it was already addedWink..maybe bufo, but I am not sure if that is really good for listening to music and singing, or just hearing the hyper music?..its so awesome, through audio driving it's as if I am in controll of the direction of energy pulsing through me...otherwise I feel weird just sitting there with my heart beating way too fast, shaking..

SWIM's Pau D'Arco tea is finely powdered ( www.princetea.com ). The tea adds a flavorful hint kind of like a touch of vanilla extract or something. Very beautiful with no side effects like are encountered with caapi leaf. SWIM still likes the caapi leaf changa, especially as a bed for crystal spice but the Pau D'Arco is in a league of it's own. SWIM's Pau D'Arco Changa is a 1:1 where as the Caapi leaf changa is more like a 4 or 5 to 1 mixture of leaf to spice. About an hour after smoking the Caapi leaf SWIM tends to get heartburn/headachey and a sensitivity to foods like cheeses and dark beer. This problem doesn't happen with the Pau D'Arco. SWIM is very grateful to SmokeyDaze for the heads up on the Pau D'Arco!

Iboga is known to induce waking dreams - Harmalin is dream inducing and sleepy - DMT is also somehow associated with dreaming - Calea extract is smokable . I dont know if the Silene Capensis is Smokeable But one wouldnt need much.

I think this Mix really could have a very Special Synergy to it .

Thread where the smoking of iboga root bark is mentioned:

Well, possibly SWIM's Pau D'Arco should be termed "Enhanced Leaf" or enhanced "bark or tea?". The Pau D'Arco is much more potent than his Caapi leaf enhanced leaf but that is because of the 1:1 ratio compared to the 4:1 ratio with the Caapi. The effects of the Pau D'Arco are definately different than smoked crystal spice. The launch is much more gentle but peak is just as far. The Caapi leaf does seem to produce some extension of effects but the lack of side effects and taste make the Pau D'Arco attractive.

hey guys

Ive just got an order of passion flower through the mail today =]

Ive been reading through some of this thread cant wait to get it on the go. I just wanna check a couple of things i tried smoking some of it by itself and got a nice effect off it. Is it safe to smoke by itself? With it being an MAOI do i need to watch what i eat or anything? also with the change recipe at the start do i need to infuse it with the DMT or can i simply put it on top and smoke it that way?

thanks guys =]
Now marching through time.

It's a very weak MAOI, and you'd need high doses to get a maoi, so absolutely don't worry about.

For changa, dissolve dmt in acetone, add passionflower leaves (1:1 of weight, or 1:1.5, what you like the most), and wait 'til it's totally dry.

I've had 2g's of caapi changa sitting in a vial for about 3 weeks. It's got an odd sour smell to it which is very not dmt-like and the original dried leaves had very little odour at all.

Any ideas what has happened here?

I have a quick question about using Pau d'arco - I got a sample of bark from the tree, is this good to use for the Changa some rate so highly or should I try find some leaves??

Thx Smile
