I'm wondering if it could be possible to introduce co2 to your saturated solvent by mixing it with soda water. Dry ice has worked for me before and despite being fairly easy to get, soda water has obvious advantages.

My ACRB has not arrived yet but I will try this method and update when I do.

Update: After separating the solvent from the aqueous solution, I added double the volume of soda water to my naptha. Immediately a white precipitate formed and then redissolved back into the water. After separating the soda water from the naptha, I put the solvent in the freezer and recovered some nice white crystals. I then boiled off the remaining water containing the NMT to retrieve it. So far this method seems to have worked quite well and completely eliminates the need for dry ice. I would love it if someone else tries this and reports their results.

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Did you smoke the nice white crystals?

If so.. did they feel like nearly pure DMT?

That is if you have used mimosa spice before.. you should be able to tell the diference..

If most of the NMT is gone.. then the remaining spice experiance should feel more like mimosa dmt and the come up should be more unforgivingly fast..not as gentle as acacia come ups...

It would be good if your method works!

Can't wait to hear the report, what brand soda water, maybe a mini a/b then do a pull with naptha, see if you can'that get that NMT, I rather enjoy it's effects. I usually make enhanced leaf with my left over NMT. Then a long walk in the woods

By what method did you ascertain that the nonpolar residue is the dmt and the evaporated water residue is the nmt?

Could you heve been creating nmt carbonate + dmt carbonate instead, until the carbonic acid in the soda wsa exhausted? In that case, you would not have achieved any separation, just a partial salting of the mixed alkaloids. In aqueous environment, carbonates are formed. Carbamates form in nonaqueous environments.

It would be nice if this proves to be a valid separation tek, by carbonate or carbamate. But there needs to be more analysis before anything can be said conclusively.
