Hi peeps. I just finished my 3rd and final pull using naptha on my basified Acacia Confusa solution. I picked up some xylene to pull out the jungle, but it's still too cold to evaporate outdoors where I am. I was wondering If I risk causing a fire or explosion by hanging the glass baking dish next to the intake of my exhaust fan in my grow tent, which blows the air through some ducting and out my window. The fan is an "Airbox" Stealth 6" inline.

Another safer but more complicated option would be to put the baking dish in a cardboard box sealed with duct tape which I can run the exhausted air through without running the risk of having fumes ignite in passing through the fan. But that would have me opening and re-sealing the box repeatedly to stir the goo around.

Dont evaporate xylene, its nasty and unecessary, I really suggest you to rather salt it out. Muuuch better.

You can do FASA or FASI and have your fumarates precipitate, or you can do acqueous salting with FASW or even just vinegar, and then evap that water on double boiler or similar and convert back to freebase. Check blab tek or amor fati tek for more info on the salting part.

So I add vinegar to the xylene which will pull the jungle into it.. But I'm not sure how to completely evaporate the vinegar in a double boiler without burning the alkaloids.. I understand they are more heat resistant in their salted state than in their freebase state, but that's provided they don't dry out completely and burn right? Do I just keep stirring and evaporating the vinegar until it becomes a goo? How would I then convert this to freebase? Not sure which TEK to consult.

In a proper double boiler, you'll never exceed the boiling temperature of water. Your alkaloids will not burn at those temperatures.

To get back to the freebase alkaloids, you could mix the dried result from the doule boiler with a slurry of washing soda (Na2CO3), dry that again and extract with dry isopropyl alcohol or 96% ethanol (it is hard to get and keep ethanol very dry). Then evaporate off the alcohol to get at the freebase alkaloids. Make sure that your alcohol is pure without any denaturants.
