so i'm in the kitchen with my roommate having a nice chat....almost absent-mindedly packing my VG with some wonderful blue lotus petals for a nice relaxing treat. i was very impressed a couple days earlier when i first smoked them....very strong.....hit very quickly...kind of like a mix between weak opium and a nice indica....
so, i'm jawing away about life's little quirks.....my roommate starts to expound on a point he had been making.

perfect time to take a nice big drag....

i hold it for a long time...start to feel a powerful calm come over me...

he's still talking...i'm going for another one....

this one's bigger than the one before and now....as i hold this one in....something VERY POWERFUL and VERY FAMILIAR starts to envelope me....i'm...

i'm...

BREAKTHROUGH. Shocked

i had just enough time to step to my left and fall into the chair opposite my roommate. in a flash i remember that i had put a large pile of spice in my VG earlier that day and had had a wonderful sub-breakthrough journey. i thought my spice had just degraded a bit (it's getting a little old...time for another extraction..) but what had actually happened was that it had just melted and not vaporized apparently.

it sure as sh*t did when i hit that blue lotus....

i'm sitting in this chair and everything makes itself clear in a matter of seconds. i blather out the words "DMT" and "breakthrough" and my awesome roommate knows just what to do. he quietly sits as i rocket into the heavens.....
i had no time to prepare...but between the blue lotus itself which is supremely calming and the sheer level of spice experience i've got at this point...i just went with it and proceeded to have a BEAUTIFUL journey! from a ceiling of Buddhas one giant Buddha descended down and smiled and laughed at me. i had been experiencing a little "mind-jam" as of late....having weird inability to just let go inside of hyperspace. my left brain was too involved...i was thinking about it too much before-hand.

this experience was the spice giving me a surprise party. it was EXACTLY what i needed. Very happy

for those who haven't tried blue lotus with spice....i HIGHLY recommend it. it is just pure bliss.

i'm still reeling a bit from that impromptu sojourn.....so wonderful and yet...well....you kinda want to know when you're gonna be going into hyperspace...

...right? Wink

OUTSTANDING!! Very happy

Ah, nice experience indeed!
I'm especially curious about the Blue Lotus-part of it. I for one have tried BL with some effects, but not nearly as strong as you suggest. What kind of herb do you use, dried nymphaea caerulea leaves and flowers? I love making a drink out of it though, simply boil 5-10g for a couple of minutes. A very bitter but - for me - enjoyable taste. (The tea is weak in effect and taste)
There's a clear difference between what I say I do and what I actually do perform.

i normally do as well but ol' Uncle Knucles came and picked one up....

it's truly a blessing though because, as i had said, i had been wrestling with letting go as of late and this experience removed the option for me. sometimes when you can't put something down, a good friend will come take it from you and put it down for you.

DMT....my good friend.. Smile

Wow it must of been quite a shock but indeed everything happens for a reason in life, spice always gives and shows you exactly what you need to see and journey through whether you were expecting a spice journey or not. Very happy

I have also had a few unplaned lift offs once during the winter I had just stoked up the old wood stove with some kindling but had not closed stove door. I to had some left overs that I had forgotton about so I partake in after work relaxation routine 2nd toke ut o here it come I was being pinned down as the carrier became louder and louder off I went. Upon return but still pinned down I could hear the fire in the wood stove sucking air and spitten sparks. This is not good I opened my eyes all I could see was the energy vortex(like the fake or real Don Jaun books) I could barley make out the room behind the vortex I floped off the couch and struggeling to crawl to the stove to close the door. I was worried the room may already be on fire I made it to the stove and closed the door. I was in a bit of a panic as waited for my vision to compleatly return the room was not on fire and all was well. I had quite a surprise but luckly all was ok. I think this has prolly hapened to most who persist at building a relationship with the spice. Maybe we shoul start a surprise experance thread or just add surprise experances to this thread.

That blue lotus sounds good i have tried it twice in extract once alone and once disolved in a bottle of wine I could not notice the effects. If you dont mind could you pm me with the vendor.

LOVE AND GRATITUDE!! back at you and all others as well

oops!Embarrased

It's not such a scary situation when you've got the experience to not freak out or try to stop it...and it sounds like you do!

Nice!

haha - what a shock - iv had some of those suprize experiences myself - last time i consumed 8.8g potent cubies thinking it was 4 due to a dodgy scale.

I must add this clarification sorry - its not blue lotus - everyone calls it that - even some vendors- see :

Nymphaea Cerulea or Nymphaea Nouchali var Cerulae are referred to as blue water lily there are other Nymphaea spp of various colors - all water lily's
Nelumbo Nucifera is Lotus and as far as i know - there is no blue one, the usual one is white and pink.

sorry for being technical but its just as bad as calling a torch a pedro. Smile

Antrocles - would it be possible in your opinion for someone to make their own vaporgenie ?

it seems pretty straight forward....there's just a ceramic element in between the herb bed and the flame.... it's just a little piece of porous ceramic that is almost the exact diameter as the little cavity it sits in (has to be a tiny bit of space or you won't be able to suck air in). i suppose that technically it wouldn't even need to screw on like the VG. just a regular pipe with some screens to prevent the spice from just melting into the pipe itself... then make a little wooden top cap with the ceramic element wedged at the bottom.

in truth...they're not that expensive. the basic one is like $40 shipped and it is worth every penny. i've had mine for years and it will never wear out.... definitely a sound investment and they really craft them well. i've got a basic one and a hand-carved teak one and they are both just works of art. absolutely beautiful....

just like you my brutha! Smile

give my love to your aegle princess!

ok 40$ - not that bad - maybe i will buy one - keep in mind my currency sux - it works out almost 10x as expensive for me.

sounds preddy simple tho - just that ceramic bit may be hard to find
