I have only recieved a small amount of spore syringes in my time, but they have all been almost just like water inside, untill closer inspection. none have been like whats in the pic you show. peace. SWIM says that's just a clump of spores. Shake it up before use.

Lol, keep us updated on that strange and mysterious incident. Who knows what could happen when the paranormal and spore syringes mix! (BTW, that is totally a huge clump of spores, damn that's a lot of spores in one syringe) The Spice extends life The Spice expands consciousness The Spice is vital for space travel ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ Never underestimate the power of STUFF!

9 days? looks like it may need some fresh air exchange, but looking good so far. are there breather holes? "Nothing is true, everything is permitted." ~ hassan i sabbah "Experiments are the only means of attaining knowledge at our disposal. The rest is poetry, imagination." -Max Planck

that's right if a layer of dry vermiculite was added to the top of each cake, it acts as a barrier against contaminants; the holes could even be left uncovered, or covered with medical breather tape "Nothing is true, everything is permitted." ~ hassan i sabbah "Experiments are the only means of attaining knowledge at our disposal. the light won't hurt at all. though once they're fully colonized, the light will actually trigger pinning "Nothing is true, everything is permitted." ~ hassan i sabbah "Experiments are the only means of attaining knowledge at our disposal. The rest is poetry, imagination." -Max Planck

sweet will do... SOOOOO EXCITED!! for my birthin chamber i got this 24.2 x 16 x 12 inches i also have 8qt of perlite i want an inch layer on the bottom correct? how much water should i soak it with should i just put the perlite in a strainer to soak it or lay it and pour water in? before i use the box i suppose i should spray it all down with lysol.. for air exchange should i just remove the lid and fan it once a day or make small holes and cover with transpore tape? one more question when i birth em should i put em on a peice of foil (that was wiped down with alcohol) ontop of the perlite.. and does it matter if its bottoms up or down which is preferred? thanks for all your help "once youve locked yourself into a serious drug collection the tendency is to push it as far as you can..." - hunter s. thompson

it all sounds good, but go with at least a couple inches of perlite; otherwise the water may evaporate too quickly. swim uses about 3-4 inches. doesn't matter what side of the foil faces up, its purpose is to prevent the cake from getting too wet resulting in rotting. everything else sounds about right. give the chamber a couple good sprays of lysol, after adding perlite (which you can just wet through a strainer..no need for a layer of water at the bottom), and wait a few minutes to disperse. you can then transfer the cakes to the pieces of foil on top of the perlite, the lysol won't really affect them. the trick is to make sure the cakes are as fully colonized, as much as possible, before transferring to the fruiting chamber. this is the primary defense against contamination, since airborne contaminants will compete for the substrate. after transferring, spray the whole chamber with water two or three times a day, and fan about four or five times a day "Nothing is true, everything is permitted." ~ hassan i sabbah "Experiments are the only means of attaining knowledge at our disposal.
