This is a thought that i have been pondering on a lot lately and the thought is that each entheogen seems to resonate at a different vibration. For me i have discovered that i do not mix well with entheogens that resonate with low frequencies and vibrations eg: Weed, Salvia where as i seem to be draw to entheogens that resonate on a higher vibration eg: Cactus, mushrooms, Spice. I would really like to hear everyone's thoughts on this vibration concept of mine. Very happy

How do you determine the polarity of a vibration? In this sense, it is absolutely subjective to the observer, as alkaloids don't really inflict specific resonant frequencies upon the brain. They sure do trigger altered states, which all most likely lower your brains operating frequency into a more trance-like state.

Terrence and Dennis Mckenna have some interesting theories relating to this. Read 'True Hallucinations' to start with, and follow it with 'The Invisible Landscape'. The latter goes in depth explaining their proposed mechanism for this sort of resonance. The former contains the actual experiment, and is a much easier read.
Everything I post is made up fiction. SWIM represents a character who is not based in or on reality.

Aegle and i have invisible landscapes - very good read, but Dennis gets a bit technical imo, i personally prefer Terrence's stuff.
Il definitely keep an eye out for True Hallucinatios

I don't know how literally you take the word 'vibration', but i can relate to a general feeling of shrooms, DMT being more 'energetic' in their psychedelic effects, while cannabis has a different feeling. I don't have experience with salvia.
