Well those look like crystals to me too, but I've definitely never seen any like that before in my travels. I too would like to know what they came from. Looks like a whole lot, of whatever it is though! Or a bad wig...  WS All posts are fictional short stories depicting the adventures of WSaged!! Maybe an acetate salt or something? Some kind of salt freebase doesn't look like that normally.

Acetate salt? Or HCl....
SWIM has ones that look like that too but he for gets what salt.... It has been a while...

It happened where mixed harmala hydrochlorides (+ excessive salt within)were dissolved in little of hot distilled water then pH was(accidentally)lowered to 3.He let it set overnight and following morning he wanted decant and salt it but found crystals instead ILPT tried to repeat but without any success. Trouble is he didn`t weigh harmalas, don`t know how much salt and water was in there  only remember pH 3 and that 150 grams of seeds were initialy used and mentioned mother liquer has total volume over 200 ml What is then, hydrochlorides ???
