Do you have a reference for that? I've simply never heard that. The best known (only known that I've heard) reason for adding fluoride to drinking water is for the prevention of dental caries. Furthermore, I can think of no reason the flouride ion would sterilize water. Chlorine (of course not chloride) sterilizes by forming hypochlorous acid. Fluoride is added in ionic form--usually as sodium fluoride. fluoride does have antibacterial properties. http://linkinghub.elsevi...ve/pii/S0099239906611011http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16180641i'll buy that they fluorinate water to form the aformntioned complexes with enamel but I don't think they put fluoride in water and toothpaste to shellac our third eye "Nothing is true, everything is permitted." ~ hassan i sabbah "Experiments are the only means of attaining knowledge at our disposal. Right, anything that dosnt fit with the mainstream paradigm is a conspiracy theory. There are a lot of issues that warrant investigation but will never get it because people are brainwashed to dismiss it automatically. If it wasnt on CNN or in the paper then it cant be true.
Sure a lot of nuts out there come up with total bunk but sometimes its real.Flouride aside,we live in a so called 1st world country yet our gov has a horrble health care system and terrible public school education. What kind of gov would care so little about its own citizens? At the very least i question their motives.Actually i dont think its all some big conspiracy,i just think the world is run by a bunch of greedy, uncompassionate people who want more money and power. What better way to keep the sheeple in check than by keeping them uneducated and in poor health.

no, I agree and I actually think the c.ia would do something twisted like test biological and chemical agents on the populace. but of course, it's very hard to prove that because they spend taxpayer money to cover their tracks. There are certainly very questionable agendas in the U.S. agencies funded by some very questionable board members. but I think trying to prove fluorination in water is a conspiracy to inactivate our pineal gland is an over-the-top conspiracy theory. pinche, I don't know if you listen to alex jones (I occaisionally do), but he also did a video segment on the subject. I like alot of his stuff, sometimes his ending commentary is a bit much; but it was his report on fluorination of water that actually got me thinking about it being a problem. Yeah,on that topic there just isnt any real evidence. Hell we hardly know anything about the pineal gland much less what flouride does to it.And sure flouride does prevent tooth decay, but do we need so much? When we drink it in water does that help our teeth?
Yeah, i listen to alex jones sometimes he's right here in Austin. He does back up his facts a lot but i dont agree with all the conections he makes. But it is very entertaining.

what do you guys think about soda and juices? they area all made with water, I cant see these companies doing reverse osmosis on the water before making there products. So in the end are we still drinking fluoride? The universe is an infinite harmony of vibrating beings in an elaborate range of expansion-contraction ratios, frequency modulations, and so forth.

So in the end are we still drinking fluoride? no, they use purified water. the issue is with tap water, municipal water. there is a different issue with sodas: sodium benzoate. some suggest that the benzoate anion may be metabolized into a carcinogenic by-product related to benzene. this of course is inconclusive, though it would probably be a good idea to limit ones intake of sodium benzoate-containing products anyway "Nothing is true, everything is permitted." ~ hassan i sabbah "Experiments are the only means of attaining knowledge at our disposal. i wouldnt ingest aspartame either.it comes from e coli bacteria waste(shit). refined sugar is bad stuff though.actually most of the stuff we eat and drink is hard for our bodies to digest.we have not evolved to eat processed foods.only in the last century did we start all that.by processed i mean all the additives and preservatives.grow organic, eat what you grow.thing is, in our world today its impossible to get away from toxins.they are everywhere and in everything. maybe that will thin out the herd a little.

thats the thing brother, They are even marketed as being better for us (aspartame is in everything that says "no added sugar" or is diet) but in reality they are doin us more harm. Aspartame was shown to cause brain lesions in lab rats! didnt know that e.coli shit it out though : ) You have to go within or you go without

I think the aspartame thing is a big conspiracy theory. I don't think aspartame is very harmful to you at all. Sure, some is metabolized into methanol, which is in turn metabolized into formaldehyde, but there is FAR more methanol in wine and even fruit.
Peer reviewed journal that mentions lesions is somewhat necessary for a claim like that.

And I did see a peer reviewed journal that used THREE mice.
lmao. 2 of them showed lesions. Two retarded mice could come from the same retarded mother.

Ok yes you guys are right SWIM didn't realize flourie wasn't used for the same reason as chlorine. I assumed it always was. They actually do use it for teeth and bones! http://www.pubmedcentral...1404812&blobtype=pdfWow this is new to SWIM. SWIM always knew about sewage treatment and chlorine but didn't know flourine was added for a silly cosmetic reason. It seems so pointless and uneccesarily risky. SWIM is fine with brushing teeth with flourine but I don't see why adding it to drinking water is needed at all. Although realize flourine is present naturally in all surface waters and I am not sure how the levels vary. There are also processes to remove it from sewage but this is most likely when the levels are probably much higher then that in normal drinking water.

I know, i am still not sure why they put in either. They say its used for teeth and bones but im still not convinced. Theres plenty out there to say that it shouldnt be http://www.second-opinions.co.uk/fluorideharm.htmlYou have to go within or you go without
