Today marks the spring equinox 2015, the first day of spring.

Vernal Equinox brings the evening of the light & the darkness. From here on out, for the next 3 months, our Northern Hemisphere will grow lighter & our Southern Hemisphere will grow darker until the Solstice.

Equinox signifies a balance between light and dark. Yin and Yang, Masculine and feminine.

We can use the calendar as a club. We can make the millennium an occasion for establishing an authentic human civilization, overcoming the dominator paradigm, dissolving boundaries through psychedelics, recreating a sexuality not based on monotheism, monogamy, and monotony. And in my circles we do, we celebrate the solstices, equinoxes, the seasons and rhythms of mother earth give us a reason to celebrate, to celebrate the beauty in nature, the beauty of existence, the beauty of being, the beauty of the universe...

In my circles also...This weekend we will be celebrating the annual Spring Fertility Rites due to it being the first full moon after the Vernal Equinox.

Usually my wife & I go canoeing on the Sacramento River with a little help from 'cybin or 'cid for our Rites of Spring , but this year two dear friends (major psychonauts in their own right) of ours are getting married on the day; so we're going canoeing next weekend & this weekend will be about celebrating our friends' love & light.
