So my Salvia divinorum plant is doing great except for what looks like some sort of rot. Has anybody had experience with anything like this? Will it go away, can I fix it, is it harming my plant, should I be worried? Any help would be appreciated, thanks. It's just pictures so I can't tell from here but your soil looks pretty wet. Is it possible you're over-watering it?

Yeah, it's not terrible, but it is in trouble. Dead man's right, a whole lot less watering is needed. Are you keeping your plant indoor or outdoor or both? Granted I'm no expert however, I honestly only ever watered my plant 2-3 times a week, making sure the soil is saturated, but not soaked or logged and then I'd just let it hang out for a few days before watering again.. Worked great for me. Keep us updated on the progress!

Thanks so much, i'll start watering it less and see if that helps. BabalonBorne: Its indoors right now, but once it gets larger I plan on putting it outside at least during the day. Open your mind and expand your conscious.

So i actually re-potted it in some looser soil and started to let the top of the substrate dry out before i watered it and it seems to have corrected itself. I appreciate all the help. Open your mind and expand your conscious.
