I just want to make it clear how difficult it is to find what I am looking for using the search function on this site. It doesn't use abstracted language searching, only specific word finding which makes it difficult to locate similar topics. Instead of created a list of near relevant topics it just returns the search with "no results found"

I post this only after having a couple of my threads moved to FAQ thread even though specifically stating that my threads were created to help people using the search function on this site(ie type in "how much to reduce" you get nothing.) (ie type in "how many pulls" you get nothing.) That is why I created the thread and they had helpful information in them that was not to be found in the FAQ or wiki section. info like how to check dmt in naphtha on the last couple of pulls which has not been stated, info like how much can be safely reduced without running into troubles with emulsions... but nevertheless the moderator just thought it was useless information and moved it to the What The FAQ section? Not only that, but as I am sure you are aware it takes a lot of effort to write a paragraph reply only for it to be abondend to the What The FAQ, surely it would be wiser to leave the posts or threads only for the sake of improving search results?

I am only trying to make it easier for others to locate the info they need after having so many difficulties my self, please refrain from replying with aversion as I only intend this thread in the hope of helping and not ranting.

Unless I'm doing a certain kind of search, I find this is usually the best way to search the site:

Google "dmt-nexus.me ", followed by whatever it is you're searching for... then just click the 'more results from dmt-nexus.me' option

Or maybe use a different search engine that doesn't aggregate personal data on all aspects of your life?

Most search engines grok the
Code:
"site:dmt-nexus.me "
search parameter.

Of course any decent search engine will do. Good point about Google

If using the nexus search function, it helps to either remember all/part of the thread title, or a phrase within a post of the thread, and/or who posted what you're looking for. Also, it makes a difference where you put your key word or phrase:

If you remember all/part of the thread title, put it in the "Subject" search box...
If you remember all/part of a key phrase within a post of the thread, put it in the "Post" search box.

From post #37 of "What the FAQ?"

How to search the Nexus

The site search engine is not great by any means but it is easy to search the site using external search engines.

Basic syntax for searching the Nexus with Google

"string" this word or phrase must occur in the result
-string this word must not occur in the result
-"multiple word string" this phrase must not appear in the result

site:dmt-nexus.me Search the entire site
site:dmt-nexus.me/forum Search the forum
site:wiki.dmt-nexus.me Search the wiki

Example

"oil" "vaporizer" -volcano site: dmt-nexus.me/forum
