Around March a book titled 'changa - die rauchbare evolution des ayahuasca' (change - the smokable evolution of ayahuasca) will be released from nachtschatten verlag:

http://nachtschatten.ch/products/product_1483.html

As far as I know this is the first book dealing specifically with changa. Sadly only in German as far as I know.

I am wondering if there will be some information in it that I don't already know from visiting the DMT Nexus... I even think that the title of his book was borrowed from an article from one the members here, Dorge.

I'd like to read that but sadly I do not speak German.

So German members speaking good English - there will be some work for you Smile

Very interesting, seems almost surreal that a physical book is being published on this subject. I do not speak fluent German either, but with Dutch being my native language, I'm sure I can understand the majority of it. I will definitely pick it up, thanks for bringing this to my attention Smile

Edit: pre-ordered Thumbs up

Because a book doesn't need to be switched on and connected to the internet? And books can survive being dropped in the bath - more or less...

Are digital copies availablr for purchase?
You may be able to get a digital copy & a program that reads for you & also translates into english. All you'd have to do is pop in some headphones & listen.
Unfortunately i don't know if such a program exists.

Not quite, Smile

The man who invented changa wrote a book on it as well (among other topics). He is even a member of the nexus:

But nice find OP, looking forward to it.

I will permit it to pass over me and through me.

Only I will remain.

Really?? How much information can a book on changa contain? Mix DMT with harmalas and a smoking mix of choice and blast off.

Buy the book if you want but it seems pointless to me. Print off the Changa Wiki page if you must have a hard copy for the bath but its not a large enough subject to warrant a book.

I may be wrong Twisted Evil Big grin

Maybe the author included a lot of really long trip reports?

90 pages in 10*15cm... It's not that much... I think there's enough to be said about changa to fill that white space.
2/5 of the book about dmt/maoi: plant sources, shamanic uses, effects...
1/5 about changa itself, effects, history, differences with other ROA...
1/5 about changa recipes, interactions with leaves to be enhanced
1/5 about smoking technique and tools and trip reports.
Something like that...Confused

I'm with geeg here, everything is on our favorite website. Love

I find it a bit weird that the author didn't write to me regarding this book!

There is coming soon a cultural history of DMT book, which includes quite some details about Changa, in which the author has extensively interviewed many people.

And my book "Articulations" contains the article here which is a sticky, and another article about how Changa was developed.

I also wrote a little about Changa in the book (apart from the two articles in the appendix), and I found myself repeating myself and covering the same territory repeatedly. (which is good in a sense to get the ideas through to people)

I'm hoping to get "Articulations" published in German! :-)

Also, a lot of people don't agree that Changa is an evolution of Ayahuasca.

http://www.ayahuasca.com...n-paradigm-of-ayahuasca/

Dorge again didn't message me about a lot of stuff. (which I found weird)

Most people I know consider Changa an evolution of DMT.
