Hi,
I have 10 brf cakes that are growing at different speeds and it looks like I will harvest some well before others. Do I dunk them before the second flush individually as they get harvested, or wait until all 10 have been harvested before dunking them all together for a second flush at the same time.
Thanks for all advice

You can let them all consolidate a little longer until the last one finishes up. If your itching to try your mushrooms though, you can fruit individually, just dunk & roll each cake after the first flush. That way you get a flush to try every week or so & when one stops producing mushrooms the ones behind it are still fruiting.

Personally I think having your grow in different cycles is a benefit, you can manage your FC space and drying better. Even if you dunk them all together they probably won't fruit together; you have ten different varieties of mycelium there in those 10 cakes which is why they're on different cycles already. At the center of this existence, it is everything and nothing, all of us and each of us and none of us. My light is now lit, and it cannot be extinguished.

Ok. So basically either way should be good fine I guess? I think I'll go individually then, sounds more fun...
Thanks for the advice my friends!

My vote goes toward whenever you pick your fruits, dry them and dunk your cake for the next flush. Dont wait til all of your cakes are finished. Definitely a better approach by caring to each cake individually. If you see one cake might be ready the next day, then maybe pick 2 cakes at once and dunk the cakes together, but if one cake is a few days off dont wait for it. I mean, ya know, union with the white light you could handle. Many thanks Humble Traveler and the rest of you guys. Here is a pic as of this morning. I'm pretty psyched and proud of my first grow of mushies. You can see the cake in the middle is chock full, so I'm just a few hours away I think from harvesting this one. Need to careful how I do that since it's pretty tight to the others. When I harvest the center one, should I go ahead and take all of them off that cake correct even if they are not 100% developed right? And the one on the top left only has one. That same question applies to the one large one coming off. Thanks for your help. I'm hoping to go ahead and try these puppies out tonight. jsut FYI cardboard can be a vector for contamination, not sure what that is in your box but use something plastic if you want to sit your gauge on it

Oooooh! They look just like some Albino A+ that a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend saw one time Well done young spore-walker. All of my posts are entirely fictional. I am a writer, and as a means to research the life of a fictional character that I'm writing about, I post on the Nexus to get into character. In real life I have no interest or interaction with mind-altering substances.

Well - had one strange night. Still processing what the hell that was, but it was fucking EPIC. I'll try to put in a trip report as soon as I can descramble my brain. Thanks for all the advice/help. Love this forum God speed...
